"Hey Clara. Emily came to stand next to Clara. 'Hi.' Clara locked her locker. 'How are you? Emily asked. 'Fine and with you? Asked Clara. 'Also pretty good. I had to pass on from Maddie that she wants to talk to you.' Said Emily. 'Okay? Why do you have to pass that on?' Argusingly, Clara looked her way. 'No idea. I'm just the messenger.' Innocently Emily raised her hands in the air.

'Where's Maddie? Asked Clara. 'Ladies' room.' Answered Emily and then she walked away. Clara sighed. Why was Maddie being so secretive? Reluctantly she walked to the restroom and she opened the door to the room. Standing at the sink was Maddie.

'Hèhè there you are at last!' Happy, Maddie ran to Clara and she hugged her. Startled, Clara jerked away. No one was giving her hugs except Scarlett and Rose. 'Sorry.' Maddie apologized when she saw that Clara wasn't comfortable with it. 'It's okay. Emily said you wanted to talk to me.' She changed the subject.

'Yes right! I know who you are.' Said Maddie enthusiastically. 'What? Clara's facial expression changed immediately. 'When I saw Scarlett Johansson standing in the parking lot yesterday I didn't know it yet but when I read that article I knew for sure: you are Clara Johansson.' Determined, Maddie looked at her. 'Who me? Clara pointed to her self. Maddie laughed. 'You really don't have to keep it a secret from me you know. I won't tell anyone.' She promised.

'Okay. I'm Clara Johansson. Confessed Clara. 'What, you've been adopted by the one and only Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost. 'Oh my god. I'm just talking to Scarlett Johansson's daughter.' Maddie was freaking out. Surprised, Clara looked at the girl. She understood that she was excited but this was a real fangirl. A real Scarlett Johansson fan.

'What's it like living with Scarlett? How is her daughter? Do you talk to her a lot? Is Colin as funny in real life too? Maddie rattled on at a stretch. Clara remained silent. Maddie didn't even care about her. All she could think about was Scarlett.

'Shall we meet up sometime? Maddie asked. She didn't realize that Clara had grown quieter. 'I don't know.' Answered Clara doubtfully. 'Why not? It's fun, isn't it? Said Maddie. 'I'm pretty busy with homework, I have a lot of work to catch up on from last weeks.' Tried to get Clara out of it. 'I can help you with your homework.' Suggested Maddie. 'Okay. This afternoon at four with you?' Asked Clara. 'What no? We can meet at your place, right?' The bell rang.

'Sorry, I have to go.' Clara turned and she walked away. 'Clara, just wait! Maddie wanted to say something more but Clara was already gone. With smooth steps, Clara walked to her classroom. Today she had music first. It was one of the electives Clara had chosen.

After a few hours had break. Clara walked into the cafeteria and searchingly she looked around. Maddie waved at her but Clara ignored it. She had no desire to meet Maddie. She sat down alone at a table.

'Clara, we need to talk.' Maddie sat down across from Clara at the table. 'I'm sorry I reacted so enthusiastically when you admitted that you are Scarlett Johansson's daughter. Scarlett is just very important to me. I used to go through a lot at home and during that time I would often watch videos on YouTube of Scarlett. She helped me a lot when I needed her. Especially you should understand that.'

'I get it. The same goes for me.' Smiled Clara. 'Funny actually. I really thought yesterday that you didn't know Scarlett. I did think I recognized you from somewhere when I met you but it wasn't until I saw the article that I knew who you were.' Told Maddie. 'Well it won't be long before all the school knows.' Said Clara. She looked around her. All her fellow students were eating unsuspectingly. There is a good chance of that. Such things spread quickly.' Maddie warned her. 'So are my mother's.'

'You mean Scarlett.' Maddie's eyes lit up. 'Yes, Scarlett.' Clara nodded. 'Cool. I mean you talk to Scarlett then hehe.' Said Maddie. 'It's also just a human being.' Replied Clara. 'Yes I know that but still. Can I ask why she adopted you?'

Clara who was just about to take a bite of her sandwich froze. 'I'd rather keep it to myself.' She then said. 'That's okay. Cool that you flew all the way here from London, though.' Continued Maddie about it. Clara just nodded. 'This was going to be another long day....
