"Cece where are my black boots!"

I groaned as Rebekah burst through my bedroom door. She went straight to my closet, loudly throwing my shoes out of it to look for hers.

"I wore them last night. Kol took me dancing," I grumbled into the pillow. "It's six in the morning go to bed."

"I have school," she reminded me, "Remember we're going to see April at the grill later."

Once she found the boots she left the pile of shoes in the middle of the floor and went to walk, "and clean up its like a garbage can in here."

"Rebekah put my shoes back," I whined loudly. She didn't come back. "Ughh I hate it here!"

She opened the door again and walked over to my mirror, "how do I look?"

I peeked up, "like a girl."

"Cece!"

I sighed, "You look perfect. Beautiful as always. Totally my type. Can I go sleep now?"

"Don't forget to me at the Grill," she repeated. I put my thumb up.

I heard her leave, finally letting me return to sleep. Just as I dozed off my phone rang.

"Why does the world hate me?" I yelled out to the empty house.

"What the hell do you want," I growled not bothering to see who it was.

"I'm bored," Kol dragged out, "Come over. Nik is torturing the hunter."

"It's six in the morning," I mumbled as I sat up.

"It's 6:36," he corrected.

"Smartass now I'm staying in bed." I lay down and covered my head with my blanket.

"Really?" The phone beeped, the jerk hanging up. Two seconds later I heard I knock at my bedroom door.

"You may not come in. I look like a turtle," I called out.

He laughed. "You always look like a turtle. Get up."

I pouted, "Now I don't want to. You called me a turtle."

"Cece." I didn't move. "Come on. I don't want to come in you didn't invite me in."

I used my magic to open the door, "look you actually have manners."

"That does it," he mutters before rushing to my bed, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. He sped to the kitchen and sat me down on the island counter. "Are you hungry? Thirsty?"

"Kol I'm sleepy," I whined, "we can play torturer later I want to take a nap."

"Very well." And just like that I was over his shoulder once more. The sunlight burned my eyes as he sped outside. At that point I just let him be. I knew he wouldn't hurt me. When we made it to Nik's house he carried me bridal style up the stairs, ignoring the questioning glances from the hybrids scattered around.

"I'll be downstairs with Niklaus. Sleep well, darling," he spoke softly after lying me down in a warm bed. It was soft and I was almost certain he laid me on a cloud. Breathing in, I was overwhelmed with his scent. I clung to a pillow.

"You smell nice," I mumbled sleepily. "Can I have pancakes when I wake up?"

"I'll make you all the pancakes you want."

I wasn't sure how long I had been sleeping but I woke to an empty house. There was a note on the side table.

Your pancakes are downstairs waiting for you. We'll be at Tyler Lockwood's home.
