( imagine you've been homeless for some time now and one day a nice friendly cop helps you). Rose: I sat well laying under some cardboard covers but it wasn't much it was rather very gross because it was dripping wet and I was soaked so that didn't help my case either, so I just sighed and propped myself up sitting against the wall of a building and I just let the rain pour down on me and as I did I kept thinking to myself how stupid I looked what a grown woman homeless kicked out because I couldn't get a job in time so my parents kicked me out of the house I sigh. ( while rose was sitting outside rain pouring down on her she started to get very cold and shiver but she was used to it because it happened a lot to her she just learned to accept it because there was nothing she could do but a certain cop watching her maybe he could help her tho. Rose: what am I gonna do I think to myself but I came out of my thoughts, when I didn't rain pouring me anymore so I looked up and I saw a man standing over me with an umbrella and I gasped at him scaring me Tom: I'm so sorry I didn't mean to scare you Mrs but Ummm you looked like you were in trouble rose: no no I'm not in trouble I say trying not to sound cold but my chattering teeth gave me away and I cursed myself mentally Tom: why don't you come back with me to my car it's a lot nicer and you'll be warmer I say softly rose: I don't know man I mean I don't even know you Tom: well I promise I'm not a serial killer now come on it's very cold out here rose: alright I say skeptically he holds his hand out to me and I take it standing up than I follow him back to his car. After I got in the man's car I shut the door and I just stayed seated shivering in the leather seat than I suddenly heard the other side door open and I looked over seeing the man getting into the car all of his hair was very wet and he was leaned over the driver's side after he shut his door

Then he just looked at me Tom: alright I say glancing at her than I quickly started my car turning the heat on rose: I continued to shiver uncontrollably and my teeth chattered Tom: here I say tossing her a small spare jacket I always kept in my car in case I ever needed it on a really cold day rose: thanks I chattered and I quickly cover up with the jacket covering my shoulders and chest Tom: I'm sorry it's not much but once we get to the chapel you'll get warmer there I promise rose: I wanted to ask because he called it the chapel but I didn't bother I just stayed quiet I decided not to ask too many questions. ( an hour later ) We had made it to wherever he now took me and we quickly got , out of his car and ran up to the building and once we got inside I uncovered myself from his jacket here I say smiling gratefully towards him tom: I take my jacket from her giving her s friendly nod rose: so ummm this Is the place I say surprised Tom: yeah it is I chuckle rose: I've never seen a place that looked like this before I snicker Tom: yeah well this is jump street rose: what's jump street mean I ask looking at him Tom: it's an undercover establishment we are undercover cops here I'm a cop I say rose: i have to go I say and I start making my way towards the exit when he jumps in front of me tom: woah wait where are you going I say confused rose: look whoever you are tom: I'm tom my names tom Hanson rose: well tom look thank you for getting me out of the rain but I have to go tom: I can't let you leave Mrs I'm sorry rose: just call me rose it's my name I say getting annoyed tom: well rose I gave you help and you're now just leaving I don't think that's fair I say rose: I appreciate the help I do but I don't wanna be at a police station ok I don't like people knowing a lot about me and i don't want the police going after my parents for kicking me out also tom: hey calm down it's ok I say gently rubbing her arm in comfort rose: I sigh I'm sorry it's just , I love my parents I don't want them getting in trouble because of me Tom: they won't get in trouble I promise ok I say as I look into her eyes rose: I nod feeling relaxed finally .
