I nod feeling relaxed finally.                                                Rose: I sat at toms desk a blanket around my body I had finally stopped shivering uncontrollably and my teeth didn't chatter anymore I just was now still cold so I had the blanket wrapped around myself still and I sat patiently waiting for him to get done with whatever he was doing.  ( few mins later) Tom: alright captain I say and I walk out shutting his door behind me then I looked over at my desk seeing rose so  I walked over to her rose: hey how did it go tom: better than expected fuller said I should take you home so that's what I'm gonna do rose: I can't go home tom my parents they'll be mad and Tom: my apartment I say smiling at her rose: oh tom: I chuckle at her than I grab my coat and keys come on I say rose: ok I say and I stand up and we're about to leave when another male walks over to Tom Doug: Tom aren't you gonna introduce to this beautiful young lady tom: I roll my eyes playfully rose this is Doug penhall and Doug this is rose smith rose: oh I smile and I shake Dougs hand Doug: that's a lovely name you got rose: thanks I blush Doug: welp you minus well meet the whole crew before my dear friend Tom leaves with you so I turn shouting for Judy Harry and Booker and blowfish Judy: alright Doug you didn't have to shout I say annoyed but I stop who's this Doug: this is rose she's a girl tom found on the streets Judy: oh I'm Judy Hoffs rose: I smile shaking her hand Harry: hi Tom: this is Harry I say impatiently Harry: nice to meet you Doug: and last but not least that's Booker rose: uh nice to meet you I say shaking bookers hand Booker: likewise Tom: alright guys I gotta go come on rose and I grab her and I leave as quickly as possible. Rose: your friends seemed nice I say as we both are now at the apartment complex tom: yeah well sometimes they can be annoying I say after I finish unlocking my door than I push the door open letting her go in the first rose: thanks I say and I walk not soon after I hear the door close behind me Tom: the bathroom is the right down that hallway you can shower there I say because I'm sure you wanna do that rose: yeah I nod thank you I say than I leave him to go shower. ( 10 mins later ) After my shower I walked out of the bathroom in a towel umm tom I say tom: yeah I say looking at her but I stop when she's in a towel rose: uh I don't have any clean clothes to wear tom: oh um follow me I say and I lead her into my room rose: I follow him into his room, Tom: all I have is just a t-shirt and sweat pants will that work I say looking at her once more rose: I nod tom: ok I give her the clothes than I leave the room shutting the door behind myself. Rose : After I was done getting changed I walked out into the living room and I went and sat down on the couch wrapping myself up in a blanket again tom: I bring out a plate of something and some water than I walk over sitting down on the couch and setting the food in front of her rose: oh thank you I say smiling and I grab the plate of food starting to eat it since I hadn't had any food in a couple days tom: so umm if you don't mind me asking why did you're parents throw you out rose: well I didn't get a proper job in time and well they threw me out at 19 years old I say angry tom: sorry I know it's a tough situation for you rose: yeah I sigh and take another bite of food tom: you can stay as long as you want here ok I won't kick you out I smile rose: thanks Tom I say smiling at him Tom: don't mention it rose: no for everything thank you I don't know how to thank you enough tom: don't mention it it's what all us cops do we help people I say smiling and with that I get up leaving her to eat rose: yeah I suppose I mumble than I keep eating the food he gave me .
