Chapter 11

Alanis's POV:
"Thank you guys so much! I couldn't have asked for this. This has made my week. I had no idea. I'm not gonna lie but going to this situation," before I can speak I'm crying. "I'm actually very scared and nervous, but to know all of you are here it makes me feel more safe." I say as everyone is quiet. "Come here," says dad. I hug him. "So that was awkward." I say as everyone laughs. I also laugh a long with them. We all get a piece of cake and talk. I hear mom and dad talking to Jenny and Travis. My dad look like their about to cry so does Jenny and Trav. "Yeah she is a strong girl. I just hope it doesn't get to her. One day it got to myself. I was depressed for a week or two. My ex and I were fighting and I just felt sick,weak, and I just straight up lost hope.." Dad says as he has flashbacks. He sits and remembers it. I saw him. I hug him and he gets up. "Thanks sweetie, let's get to the presents," he tells me. I sit on the couch with all the presents in front of it. "I cannot thank you enough for even coming," I say, "I love you guys." I open all the gifts and now it's the one mom and dad got me. It's a wrapped squarish box. I open it eagerly. No way. It was my own vlog camera. "So were starting your own youtube channel. We made it a couple weeks ago and we have it reserved. It's a channel where you can post what ever you want," Mom tells me, "It's called "Alanis"."
