Diesel continues to jump. He jumps on me a couple times and I fall on my arm. "DIESEL!" Dad yells in anger. He yelled so loud I thought my eardrums were going to burst. He puts Diesel outside. My arm begins to hurt. Mom runs to me. "ALANIS!" She exclaims! Zoey runs to me and licks my face. "I think I'm fine," I say as dad lifts me up. I can tell a huge bruise is forming on my arm. "THAT DAMN MUTT!" my dad shouts in anger. I never see him like this. I sit down on the couch. "CHARLES, WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE!" mom yells, "YOU HAVE A CHILD SITTING RIGHT THERE!" "WELL, EXCUSE ME ALLIE!" He yells again. "He's just a dog, he doesn't know any better," I say to dad. "ALANIS MARIE TRIPPY, YOU BETTER STAY OUT OF THIS OR I'LL HIT YOU!" Dad yells at me like he's never done before. He doesn't know what he's done. I run to my room crying.
