Chapter 51

We finally make it home. I'm still a bit dizzy so mom makes me stay in my room. I sit on my bed. I go on my phone and I start checking Twitter. I get millions of tweets from viewers saying that they're worried about me. I reply to some saying "it was an accident that could've ended badly." My phone makes me jump as it vibrates and rings. It's Danny's girlfriend Lindsey. I swear she's my second mom sometimes. I answer.

Alanis: Hi Lindsey
Lindsey: Hello baby girl. Are you alright?
Alanis: I still feel dizzy, but I'm okay. I have a pounding headache, too.
Lindsey: I'm so glad you're okay. What happend??
Alanis: I was getting really stressed. I kind of ran away and didn't tell mom and dad. I ran to the park. I sat by the lake. A ctfxcer was behind me. He heard me crying. He said I started having a seizure after. I fell in the lake. He quickly got me out and called an ambulance. I guess I hit my head when I got out or something.
Lindsey: Thank goodness for that viewer.
Alanis: yeah.
Lindsey: I have to go. You're welcome to come stay with us whenever you'd like. I wanna hang out with my friend.
Alanis: thank you! Love you! Bye!
Lindsey: love you too. Bye!

I hang up. I hear crying from the kitchen. "I WISH THIS ALWAYS DIDN'T HAPPEN." it's mom. "It's all my fault Allie. I have a tumor and she inherited it." Dad blames himself. "Not your fault honey." Mom says. "It's just stressing me out so much," she says as dad agrees. I really need pain reliever medicene. I'm gonna act like I didn't hear a thing. I walk to the kitchen as mom wipes her tears quickly. They give me advil and I go to my room. I fall asleep.

I wake up about an hour later. I wake up to hearing mom and dad stressed again. Just them saying that this is stressing them out. I walk to my bathroom. Silent tears fall down my cheeks. I think of something to punish me for stressing them out.
