Chapter 52

I grab the razor I'd normally shave my legs with. I brake off the razor. I deserve it. I've made mom and dad stressed for the passed couple months. I start to put the razor blade near my arm. The words "you deserve it" run through my head. I glide the blade on my arm. It makes a fresh straight cut. I do about 5 more. It hurts. I deserve it. I bet Lexi really hates me. She probably says all that to trick me. I bet my best friend also hates me. Even my parents! Maybe even the viewers. I cut on my arm a couple more times. I wash the blood off and dry my arm. I grab my DLV pullover sweatshirt. I don't hear them talking anymore. I put the sweatshirt on to cover my scars. It's spring it Florida. It's really hot out. But I don't care. It's about 5:00 pm now. I walk into the kitchen to get some water. "ALANIS!" Dad calls, "We're going on a date. Danny wants to record a podcast with you. You're spending the night at their house to get away a bit. Get anything you need packed." I pack an old ctfxc shirt from when dad started the ctfxc channel. It just says "CTFxC" in pink and green. I pack blue and green pj pants. Then I pack a long sleeve Tampa bay Rays tee and jean shorts. Then I pack my glasses and socks. Mom gives me all my meds and I pack them also. I put it all in a little duffle bag a long with my phone,charger, and headphones. I pull my hair into a pony tail. Mom drops me off at their house. "Be good." She tells me as I exit the car.
