Chapter 23

Mom packs my bag. I put on my clothes. I carefully place a beanie on my head because I still have staples in my head. I'm brought to across the street to get them removed. As soon as I know it, we're there. I sit down and the lady begins to remove the staples. I wanna scream every time a staple is removed. She finally is done. I put my beanie back on. Dad starts to vlog. "Good job, Alanis!" He says, "You didn't move,scream, or cry, I'm so proud!" We leave the hospital and take an uber to the airport. As soon as I know it, we're on the plane. We're coming home after 2 weeks in Boston. I can't wait to see my friend, Lindsey. I can't go to school for a month, so I can recover. In the meantime I have to do the school work the best I can at home. I have to stay home to get my hands, mouth, and my legs moving faster before I go back. I also have to wait for my tumor results. Which I get next week. I'm so nervous for the outcome. I fall asleep, as the plane takes off.
