"Something Here"

10:32pmThe wind almost reflected the way he felt, by extension the way he acted. The icy biting wind swirled around everyone in it's path, sending chills and shivers in it's wake, until it reached the two neighboring balconies. The wind ran down the dark road like children who had just been let out onto the playground for lunch time. Just like children screaming and laughing, the wind whistled and swooshed.
"So like, what do you do for fun?" Your eyes glanced up to his, which were already looking at you.
The night talks became a daily thing.
"Believe it or not, but I fuckin' love parties. I used to go out a lot but I've held back a bit these past two weeks." His smile melted you every time you looked at it.
"Well, you certainly don't come off as the party animal type." You half-joked.
"Oh you'd best believe it." His feet dangled off of the ledge, hands shoved into the pockets of the hoodie you had given him. "Gotta let out this teenage angst somehow."
"Oh yeah, definitely." You agreed, your eyes focusing on the shoes that covered your feet, the dirt peeing off the side of them.
"I have a question."
Your eyes met Brian's as he looked at you with an expression of curiosity, a mischievous smile plastering on his sculpted face.
"Yeah?" The curiosity ate away at you as his hands rested onto the ledge on either side of him.
"Do you want to go somewhere?"

8:51pm"I have no fucking idea where Alex is, he was being.. stalked by some—something and it's affecting all of us, Brian included."
"What?" You're astonished, eyes watching Jay closely. "What thing?"
"Look, I don't know—you just have to trust me on this, please." Jay's words piled onto you, your emotions conflicting as they had a war of their own.
"Lets just go." A sigh escaped your lips as you let your feet guide you towards the front door.
A shriek paired with loud static.
The sickening feeling that waved over you.
Dread. It's like lukewarm water pooling down an empty stomach. The spit rising in your mouth before you puke. Drywall and plywood stench that clings to anything it finds. Knees giving out after a faint tremble. Familiar air as thick as concrete that you wish you could bash your head into again and again.
Remembering makes you want to forget. Forget the static. Forget the fighting. Forget your childhood. Forget fucking everything.
Everything except for him.
Your head pounded, your knees weak as you fell. Fell to the dirtied ground littered with scraps of newspaper, your eyes adjusting to the darkness and the pain bashed your head open.
It's blurry and far away, yet so bold and vibrant. It's so familiar yet so foreign. The monochrome color stuck out to you despite the darkness consuming everything it can touch.
The symbol entered your mind as you laid eyes on it, hands trembling as you fell beside it, eyes blurring as you felt your side being shaken, a muffled voice being drowned out by the piercing static that never failed to haunt you.
You remembered.
