"Alison"

7:34am"Holy shit." Alex muttered with a smile—the first genuine smile you've seen from him in a long time. The mere sight of the giant in-ground pool excited all of you; the water glistened in its amazingly clear glory.
You could only scream as you felt hands shove you into the water, the night sky littered with stars. "Brian, you dick!" A laugh emitted from your lips as you swam around and watched Tim jump in.
The splash made you look away for a moment, water coating your already wet face.
"Hey, thanks for showing us this place, by the way." Tim mentioned, to which you grinned. "It's no problem."
Some of your family had money—old money. The pool was the newest addition to your great aunt's lovely property.
You suddenly felt a tug at your leg, looking down expecting to see Brian in his childish nature.
You saw him,
But it wasn't him.
Your eyes rapidly looked around the room as you made an attempt to catch your breath. It felt the whole world was crumbling down onto you, chest feeling tight.
"Hey—woah, bad dream?" Jay questioned from where he was sitting, you must've fallen asleep on the couch.
"Yeah, yeah." You rubbed your temple as the horrifying thought of the red frown masked your thoughts. "Just a nightmare."
"Well, before you die of a panic attack, I got one of the tapes to work." A proud smile came across his face as he clicked on a video on his laptop.
"Really? Those things looked done for."
"I know right, but just look at this. I'll show the others later." You scooted closer to the screen for a better look, the slight sunlight seeping through the curtains in your living room.
"Tim was right actually, it contains more raw footage of when Alex was shooting Marble Hornets." Jay mentions, before holding up a finger. "Bare with me here."
The video begins with a camera on the dash of a car, peering out into the black void of the night. The only sound audible for a moment is the low humming of the car.
A cell phone ring can be heard before small shuffling noises, the ringing getting slightly a louder before Alex answers with a simple 'hey'.
Amy greets him, her words rather inaudible with the light roar of the car drowning her out.
"It was fine, how was your day?"
The two talked back and forth about college, and filming locations for a moment before Alex begins talking about how he maybe wanted to transfer schools to be closer to Amy.
Your heart ached at the two. You would've thought it was cute if they both didn't disappear off the face of the planet. Your attention turns to Alex blatantly lying to Amy seconds later, saying he was at home instead of driving down the winding roads.
You and Jay passed a glance as Alex hangs up the phone and stops the car, keys jangling as he gets out and begins walking. His footsteps become more rapid as his breathing speeds up and becomes more anxious, light audio corruption in the background.
The camera beeps as it's panned over to a different part of the trees, a figure standing underneath the streetlamp, Alex screaming before it.
"Hey!" He begins stepping forwards as the footage distorts more heavily. "What do you want?!"
The footage fully corrupts as it cuts back to an empty tree-line, Alex coughing violently as he looks around, the footage distorting one last time before cutting completely.
"What the hell." You muttered as the sound of Amy's voice replayed in your mind.
"I know." Jay sighs as he clicked off of the video. "I can't even begin to decipher this but I know it has to do with Amy."
"Well, what's our next move?" You questioned as Jay closed his laptop.
"I don't know yet."
