A New Beginning

Empty room and hook up?

It's been a few days since I got my wings and I'm trying to get used to the new mucles on my back. I walked in my room and I looked at the secret library door with the trigger book where I can only see the initials with the letters "R.B.L" I don't know what the full title is because when you try to pull it opens the secret door. I go down the elevator to the secret room I made for Janice and me, I walked into the huge empty room.

I slowly comb my wings with my fingers and feel them through the feathers, I try to flap them to see if I can fly. I used the empty room since it was large enough to fly freely in, the room was like 50ft by 50ft. After about over an hour I got the hang of my wings and was at a steady flight, I put up some tires in the room so I can practice on my agllity.

I would fly inside the tires through the hole and out while trying not to crash, I even put some high in the air to dodge if I wanted. After a few hours I decided I've practiced long enough since my wings were sore and tired. I went to the kitchen to get a snack since it was very late at night, Janice's dad came and said hello to me.

He said to me, "Hey Alex, I know that now my Candy Cane is a teen and is now interested in boys, I want you to be that boy..." In shock I said, "She is like a sister to me, yes I love her but not as like that, I like her as family," He replied, "Okay I thought it would be too much to ask, but can you at least keep an eye on the boys she gets with,"

I said back, "You don't even need to ask I would do that myself." The next morning I went back home to visit our meet up we have every two weeks on a Saturday so we can just talk and have fun, or even catch up on things in school that we missed out on. I went to our usual spot to wait for them, it was a small coffee shop just a few blocks away from our house.

Every one was there except for Kat who decided to bring drinks and Jak was bringing food, when we were all there we ate and talked about family school and halloween that was coming up which was right after Janice's birthday which was her 17th birthday. Once it started getting late we walked back to our homes, we all huged good bye and went to our beds.

The next day I told everyone I'm going to visit my cousins for a week but I was actually going to the safe house. I went back into the secret room and tookout my wings that were kramped up. I countinued praticing on my wings hoping I can make them stronger and faster, during my practice I thought What if I used my powers during flying.

I got my fire and made my feet into rockets with fire shooting out of it, I started flying and shot fire out of my hands to help me with sharp turns. The next thing I new I was flying so fast the room wasn't big enough for me to fly in with out almost hitting a wall. I went outside and practiced there instead, since the safe house was in the middle of a huge forest I had no worries of anyone seeing me.

I was curious and did my fury with my wings out and the aura around them got so bright it looked like fire without the heat. I was getting excited for Janice to get her wings so I could teach her this trick. I flew even faster than before and I looked like a bright yellow beam shooting through the air. I shot up straight into the sky and over the clouds.

I saw the sun setting over in the horizon which looked beautiful, I felt myself getting tired very quickly, I guess fury and flying takes a lot of energy. I went back down into the safe house to take a nice shower from the training. I went into my room and sat on my bed stretching my wings which were some what wet still. It was a long day and I was exaughsted, all I could think about was what do I do when Janice gets her wings. I guess I'll figure it out next year when it happens.
