A New Beginning

Oops

We were staring at each other for what seemed like hours. "Who told you I was there Alex" he was staring at me and full of confusion and anger. "I had a weird dream that really seemed like it was real." He was thinking hard at what I said. "How did you see that?!?" I thought about it and from all these years I know it wasn't some dream but I don't know what it really was either way.

"I don't really know what it was Mr.Cane, all I know is that I hit my head and got up and I was already in the dream." He looked down and was thinking and it looked like he knew what happened. "Mr.Cane what are you thinking?" he looked at Janice, "It was your mother Candy Cane she somehow was able to tell him about himself... But why she doesnt even know you exist."

I looked at him and said, "But how do you know she was the one who gave me that vision thing." Mr.Cane replied "She is the only person I know who could show memories besides Janice who I'm not even sure she even has it or not." Janice cut in the conversation, "Wait I can probably what, I didn't know that and how does my mom know you Alex?" I was just as confused as her, "I don't know."

"Alex, Janice we'll continue this conversation later." he walked out the room and me and Janice just looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. That Friday was actually halloween and we were excited to look for costumes cause we wanted to match. "Alex, we've been looking for a long time, I don't think there are any good costumes." I sighed, as we got to our home at the safe house I just had a great idea.

"Janice, how stupid are we... We could be angles!" I could see her smile right as I said it "Yea and we could put on white clothes and everything, but where are we gonna find fake wings." I stared at her then flicked her head "Oww what was that for Alex." I took my wings out, "Janice we can use our real wings and just put some things on it to make them look slightly fake. She looked at me in concern "Don't you think it's dangerous and that someone can find out"

She wasn't wrong "Who would believe that the wings are real?" After that we both put on white clothes and put rings above our heads and we both looked great. We flew to our town and landed in a alley and started going house to house for candy. There was one house where there was a really long line and there candy were all huge and delicious. We passed by a few haunted houses and we both looked at eachother and shook our heads no.

Jak and Kat were with us and they were showing there real teeth and dressed up as vampires. After a while we passed by this one house and there was this guy about our age and was this creepy zombie scaring everyone. We walked by and he seemed not to care so we kept walking and then he growled at us and scared Janice since she wasn't a fan of scary things.

She squeezed my arm from being scared, I thought it was cute at first but I forgot she has super strength and my arm started hurting. "Hey Janice you're kinda breaking my arm" her eyes were shut tight then I heard the girl that was with the zombie dude scream. We looked back and the zombie guy was completely frozen, we heated him up and erased the girls memory, they were both unconscious and we just layed them on their porch at their house.

I looked at Janice and all she said was "Oops" and smiled
