A New Beginning

Tommorow

Janice is almost eighteen and then I'll have to tell her everything, I was sitting down eating my breakfast thinking What if she freaks out and runs away thinking she is a monster... or fly since she will have wings. I was really nervous and hoping for the best everything goes well, I went to her house to see if her powers came early just in case.

Luckily she was eating breakfast and was fine, but I better stay and keep an eye on her incase her wings start forming, and I know that pain so I better be here. "Hey Alex Good Morning, where do you think we should do for my birthday tommorow?" she looked at me with excitement and a mouth stuffed with toast. I laughed a bit when I saw it and I said, "I think we should go camping there's a nice place I would like to show you."

I am planning to take her to the safehouse first thing tommorow even if her powers aren't there yet. I just hope she understands the reason we didn't tell her was because she might go looking for her mom or get frightened. I was scared myself back then. I went to Jak and Kat's house seeing what we should do when we tell her.

I knocked on the door and waited for them outside on their porch, there was a nice coffee table and some chairs. I sat down and waited for a few moments and then Kat came out. "Hello who is it- oh hey Alex" *looks in to her house* "Hey Jak it's Alex, get out here." Jak responded all sleepy "Alright let me make my coffee at least." Kat sat down next to me and said "So what's up?" I looked at her and said, "It's for tommorow so lets wait for Jak"

She looked at me with a concerned face, "Oh are you nervous of what might happen?" I stayed quiet and nodded. After a minute or so Jak came all sleepy with his mug and steam coming out of it. "Morning Alex *says with droopy voice* what seems to be the problem?" he sits down and takes a sip of coffee next to kat on her right and she is on my right.

I explain what I'm worried about and that I want to know what they think of what to do or say tommorow. After a while of hearing what they have to say I realized that I'm just nervous and forgot that Janice can understand and forgive me or even be excited that we are special people, "Well I certainly feel better thanks you guys." I was relived that they showed me the good things that can possibly happen, we saw Janice step outside her house and then sterted walking towards us.

"Okay if she asks we were talking about taking her to a cool camp place I know but it's actually the safehouse" I looked at them both, and then they both said, "Got it." Janice came and sat down to my left, "Hello everybody, hey Alex thinks we should go to a camping site he knows." She sat there full of eagerness, "We know Janice Alex just told me and Kat."

Janice smacked my arm, *smack* "Alex I wanted to tell them" I placed my hand on my left shoulder on where she hit me. "Well sorry you could've told me and Ow" After a long talk with Kat and Jak, me and Janice went to my house to do our homework for tommorow since we got to turn it in by then. We were sitting down on my bed and we were both doing Geometry.

Janice looked at me and said "Hey Alex, my dad has been acting weird lately and I don't know why." I looked back at her and remembered that I talked to him yesterday explaining what happened to me will also happen to Janice on her birthday and it's really painfull to endure. He was so nervous about it he was sweating, but we both knew it would eventually happen and we would have to explain weither we like it or not.

After our homework was finished Ihugged her goodnight and we both went to our bed, I layed there and couldn't sleep at all. I stood up and got my phone and started texting Janice Hey you there Janice...

Yea I'm here what's up, I texted her for another two hours.

Hey Alex can I go to sleep now? I then replied with a grin on my face

No I want to say happy birthday first I am your brother after all Her birthday is around 3:00 a.m. so I decided to text her until then to keep an eye on her. Plus Jak and Kat always say Hppy birthday before I get the chance.
