A New Beginning

Boyfriend?!

I flew straight to Katrina and Lucy's house after Tyler told me they were gone, there was still some ice here and there but it seemed like most of there things were gone. I looked around but there was nothing that could give us a clue where or why left. I flew back and Janice, Jak and Kat were outside waiting, I landed out back and asked them, "Find anything?"

Janice shook her head side to side, "Nothing not even a note, you?" I shook my head also, "There things are all gone, not even a trace."

A while later we decided to stop and Janice came up to me and said, "Hey we think we may have found a guy to help us out with getting my mom back" We went upstairs to get ready and got in the car to this guy's house named Luke.

We got to his house and Charlie was with us, Luke opened the door and said, "Ah you guys must be Alex and Janice," Janice was just staring at Luke like he was a god or something. I snapped my fingers in front of her face and she looked at me and said, "What?" I was disappointed and said, "Luke was talking to you." Her eyes turned big and she said, "Oh, I'm so sorry. Hi my name is Janice Cane."

He looked at her with a look I did not like, he then said "Ah, so this is the lovely Janice that Charlie has spoken of. My name is Luke Davids. I know that Charlie has told you almost everything about me so that clears things up. One thing he did not mention is that I have a plan. I have everything all planned out and if what I have works then we can rescue your mother by the end of the next week."

I looked at Janice and she was astonished and she said, "Perfect, thank you so much for your help with your plan. I'd love to go over it with you to be sure of how it's going to go." Luke smiled "I'd love to go over it with you at dinner" He smiled in a way that I did not like at all. "Hey-" Charlie grabbed me and dragged me to the car.

"What are you doing Charlie" I could hear Janice say, "Dinner sounds great" we closed the doors in the car and I asked Charlie while looking at Janice and Luke still. "Why did you drag me away"

"Come on you can obviously see she likes him," I looked at him and back at them, "They're giving each other there numbers" Charlie gave them a smirk and said "Whoa Janice you go" I looked at him with a concerned look and said, "Really Charlie" He looked at me shrugging his shoulders, "What, they look good together"

We drove back and the whole way back Janice had the biggest smile on her face, I had a little argument with her on the way back. I don't like this not one bit. When we got back Dad had already made food and set it up on the table, I looked at Janice and said, "Sis foods ready." She didn't listen and was still smiling and went straight to her bedroom. I decided to talk to her later, I walked up to my dad and asked, "Why did you make the breakfast?"

"You are all always working so hard and I only sit here talking to Mr.Judo and Mr.Cane out on the front porch" He has a good point, him Mr.Cane and Mr.Judo just talk since this isn't there battle, and a close friend of Janice lives here too named Stephanie but I rarely talk to her. I went to eat dinner and went to my bedroom.

I went to my balcony and just stood their and starred at the sky watching the stars slowly appearing while the sun was setting, I thought to myself, How is Luke gonna make such a plan that it will save Janice's mom? I kept thinking how or what his plan could be for almost an hour. Once it was dark out Janice came up to me from her room since our balconies are connected.

She looked at me and said, "Hey"

"Hey sis" I turned around and looked at her leaning on the balcony, she said "I'm sorry... for earlier today, you were only trying to protect me, you are my guardian" For those who don't know my ability is a guardian, whom ever guardians love most they will choose to protect them and if they ever need a specific power to protect that person we acquire that power.
