"Daddy Wake up!"

A voice of a little girl wakes me up, I open my eyes and my 10 year old daughter Amy is jumping on the bed me and my wife Daisy sleep on. "Good Morning Daemontrias" she says while giving me a good morning kiss, "C'mon Daisy don't call me that you know I prefer David." She sat up and put Amy on her lap and said, "Be glad your parents gave you the name of your great grandpa." My name is Daemontrias Brians and I love the life I'm living.

I got out of bed and said, "Yea well I didn't want the name from him just because he was a heroic assasin from World War One." My 13 year old son Damien walked in and picked up Amy from my wife's lap taking her to the table saying. "Lets go Amy, time to go make breakfast." Amy waved her arms in excitement yelling, "Pancakes, pancakes, pancakes!"

A few minuets later we started to make the pancake batter and Amy was jumping around the living room while Damien was chasing after her trying to stop her. I have the perfect life I thought to myself, Daisy who was cooking the bacon noticed me smiling and said, "Hey, why are you smiling?" I looked at her and said, "I'm just happy for what I got, I just hope this never ends."

Daisy tapped my shoulder and said, "Hey don't Jinx it now."

"Oh yea sorry." After breakfast I went to work as a engineer and my wife was dropping off the kids at school and headed to the hospital because she was a doctor. I walked into my office and my name was on a plack with the words Assistant Manager above it. For the past year we have been working on a car that runs purely on energy that is supposed to be more energy efficient than the other car companies with these cars.

I walked into the office of the companies' manager to call her over to the lab to see the final result for the car. We walked to the lab to find the car running on a tredmill to see how much energy it looses after traveling 100 miles. After a few minutes the car stopped and we all waited anxiously as they checked how much energy it lost after starting off fully charged.

We were told that it was a success and the car only lost 1/3 of power which is other electric cars either loose 1/2 or more charge. In celebration of this long project we were all told to leave home early and have the rest of the day off. I started to drive home and decided to pick up my kids from their school to celebrate the success since this car was going to make the company a lot of money.

I looked at the time and it was 1:13 pm so they won't get out for another 2 hours, after I went to their schools and picked them up I told them both were going to spend the rest of the day at the amusement park and ride everything there. The kids jumped on their seats in excitement, Daisy should be home since she only has a morning shift.

I called Daisy to head out front so I could pick her up, she got in the car and asked, "What happened?" I looked at her and before I could tell her the kids yelled. "WE'RE GOING TO THE AMUSEMENT PARK!!!" She looked at the kids and back at me and I said, "The year long project was a success so we got the rest of the day off.

She hugged and gave me a kiss, "That's great!" we went to the amusement and went on rides non-stop and didn't stop until we couldn't stand. We sat down and had pizza and soda, it was getting dark and started to rain so we decided to head back. "Okay Amy, Damien lets go back home." The kids ran up to me and hugged me and Amy said, "No, can we take one more ride pweeeeze." Damien looked up at me and said, "Yea can we take just one more ride."

Daisy grabbed them and hugged them when she said, "I'm afraid we can't, they'll close the park since it's raining now." They sighed and we all headed home and took the freeway since the park was far away from home. As we were driving we noticed the kids fell asleep. Daisy chuckled and said, "Aww the kids are leaning on eachother, soo cute."
