A New Beginning

Battle Part 2

Daemontrias had around 30 rocks floating behind him that were all as big as me. Janice was aiming at the boulders to get ready for them once they start firing. The rocks then started flying towards us and I ran towards the rocks to destroy them and Janice would shoot them.

The first rock I swung my sword horizontally and the rock split in half and crumbled as it hit the floor, any other rock that I couldn't get to was shot by Janice who stood in the background trying to get a clear shot.

*One Minute ago

"Janice we need a plan."

"I know, do you have any ideas?"

"No..."

"Okay, I got one. You charge in and get rid of some rocks and distract Daemontrias so I can get a clear good shot at his chest or head even."

*Present time

I swung my sword to three rocks in front of me I slashed one into four, the other came up and I cut it into three. After I looked ahead and the third was too close to swing at, so I pulled back my fist and punched straight into the rock, I could feel it crumble into several pieces and I went right through it.

I was on a killing streak and Janice shot one that I was about to slash, "Hey, that was mine Janice."

"Too slow bro." She said as she kept spamming her arrows at the rocks, I looked ahead and saw that Daemontrias was just getting more and more boulders as we were destroying them. There's no end to this.

I started to talk to Janice with our telepathy.

"Janice there's no end to this, Daemontrias is getting more boulders constantly."

"Yea I can tell"

"What do we do?"

"I don't know."

"We have to find a way to get closer because I can only get about half way and he's like another 50 feet away. Whoa" I didn't notice that I was being completely surrounded by boulders, I flew up and the boulders followed. I swung my sword around me and cut all the boulders in half, I noticed something while fighting, "Hey Janice can you move to the side?"

"Uh, yea why?"

"I have a theory and I want to see if it's true."

"Okay?" She moved to her right while still firing and the boulders were still heading towards her. "I knew it! Daemontrias isn't able to control them all at once, so it's like a wave of rocks. If he can't see us the rocks won't be able to follow."

"But I'm completely out of his view, how does he know where I am?'

"Maybe he can tell which boulder are getting destroyed."

"Okay then what do you have in mind?"

After explaining the plan me and Janice go to our positions, basically what we're gonna do is we're gonna pretend to get hit by the boulders and use that to go in hiding to give him a surprise attack.

I kept punching down the boulders waiting for and opening, Wait for it... wait for it... NOW! I flew straight up to bring all the rocks towards me, once they were all around and closing in I stopped flapping my wings and dropped. The boulders smashed together and a huge cloud of dust formed.

I dropped down on the edge of the rock and stayed just behind it so I was out of Daemontrias' sight. He noticed I was gone and stopped the boulders, Janice had already done the same and hid on the other side of the island rock thing we were fighting on.
