Keefe jumped. It had a voice now.
"Guess even the shadowflux couldn't resist this," he said, gesturing to him
Fitz instinctively rolled his eyes, then stopped halfway.
His eyes narrowed, then he jumped back into his role as the worried best friend.
"How did this happen? The quintessence should have blown off the shadowflux."
He paced back and forth.
"Woah. Dude, chill. You're starting to remind me of Foster"
Fitz paled, and Keefe realized his mistake a little too late.
"I-I-I mean"
Fitz gasped
"Crap," he said, not giving Keefe enough time to comment on his potty-mouth.
"No. It can't all happen at once. NO!" he yelled, grabbing Keefe's hand
"Not again."
Keefe was internally freaking out before Fitz suddenly jumped up.
"I have to go."
He ran out of the door, leaving Keefe to ponder it.
