This was, one hundred percent, inspired by Wings of Fire.

Keefe looked at his hands
Completely see-through
Sophie hugged him
"It's hard to hug someone you can't see," she said, muffled by the fabric.
Once she pulled back, she had that adorable crease in between her eyes and was lecturing him
"Be sure to come right back, ok? and hold on tight"
Keefe laughed.
"I mean it"
"Okay, okay! Jeez" Keefe said, backing away from her
"Come right back. Hold on tight. Anything else?" he teased
"Oh shut up" she retorted
She hugged him again, and Mr. Forkle told them to hurry
Sophie grabbed Keefe's face and tried to kiss him, but it ended up in between his nose and his eye
She giggled
"It's even harder to kiss someone you can't s-Eek!" she made a noise of surprise as he grabbed her face and guided it gently to his mouth.
When he pulled back, he glanced at the other Forkle twin who was talking to Sweetface
Before he knew it, Sophie was climbing down the palace steps, leaving his arms empty and cold
So I paraphrased and directly phrased a lot of that from the book.

Anyway, that was fun! it's been a hot minute since I'd written anything, but boy am I glad I wrote this. i think the next chapter I post is gonna be the Keefex weirdness, so stay on the lookout for that I guess
