Biana sighed

"Fine, I'll let you have a break. You'll meet me at the food court in 15 minutes?"

"30," Sophie said

"25 and no more,"

Sophie smirked

"Urgh! You did you're negotiating thing again, didn't you," Biana whined

"I have 25 minutes, and I won't waste them talking to you. See you later!" Sophie said, and she ran out.

She was sitting on a bench, finally having gotten rid of Biana. The carols in the background were getting annoying.

She checked the time and realized that she had 5 minutes to get to the food court. She stood up, texting Dex that she should be at his house in an hour and a half.

She bumped into someone, but before she could tell what was going on, she felt like she was flying.

Her nose started tingling. 

Sophie opened her eyes and instantly regretted it. A boy with the prettiest eyes she had ever seen stood right in front of her. 

He cleared his throat

"U, Hi?" he said, his voice deeper than should be legal

"Hi" she squeaked and hit behind her hair, face firetruck red.

"Are you okay?" he asked, an adorable expression on his face

"Y-yeah" she stuttered and cursed herself. Why couldn't she carry a normal conversation?

She finally noticed her nose was tingling and frowned

"How's you're Christmas?" she asked timidly

He blushed and rubbed the back of his neck

"Fine" his voice sounded distant

She smiled sadly at him.

"Hey, come on! What's your name? Mine's Sophie Foster"

"Keefe" he noticeably left his last name out, but she stayed quiet.

"Wanna get a hot chocolate?" she asked

He raised an eyebrow. It took Sophie a moment to realize what he thought was going on.

"No-not like that!" she cried out, flustered

"You seemed lonely"

"Okay," he said

"I have to meet my friend at the food court. Wait here" Sophie dashed to the food court

"Be careful not to trip!" he yelled after

She blushed

Her nose stopped tingling the farther away from him she got, and she knew that he really was having a bad Christmas. 

"Biana" she called as soon as she got close to her friend

"You were late!" Biana exclaimed

"I-" Sophie paused

"Met someone"

"Was it a boooooy?" she elongated the word boy and wiggled her eyebrows
