KOTLC Oneshots Cause Why Not

"I don't want to hold you back" AKA The one oneshot that was due a week ago

I got no comments(but it only was a day, but I'm impatient, so yeah) so here we go!

Also, can we ignore Tam's living situation right now? just cause I'm too lazy for anything.

Tam stared at his imparter

What had she done

Keefe was coming over soon.

He jumped up, not able to stay still

Restlessly fussing with his bedsheets, Tam sat on the edge of his bed, trying to figure out what to say to Keefe. It's not every day you accidentally cheat on your boyfriend.

Especially Keefe.

Keefe had arrived at Tams house, not quite sure what was going on. He found Tam pacing

"Hey," he said gently "Wassup?"

"H-hi" Tam said, acting suspiciously

"What's wrong?" Keefe asked

"I-"Tam looked down and mumbled something incoherent

"What?"

"Nevermind," he said, still looking down

"Nothing"

Keefe frowned but stayed quiet

"So why'd you call me over?"

"I-Uhhhh" he looked uncomfortable, so the subject was quickly changed

" you never did tell me how you got a skateboard"

Tam smirked

"You wanna learn how to use it or not?"

Keefe slung his arms around Tam's shoulders

"Fiiii-" he stopped cold

Why was he so guilty?

Just to be clear, I'm avoiding putting a specific pov here cause that doesn't feel right right now

Keefe stared at Tam.

"Wanna go outside?" Asked Tam, not noticing

"Sure" the boys both walked outside, and sat down on a bench in the rose garden.

"Can I ask you a question" Keefe inquiered

Tam tensed

He's an empath you dummy

"Yeah" his voice sounded straned

"Whats on your mind?" he asked gently

Tam bowed his head

"I.." Keefe smiled softly at him, encouraging. 

"I.. Might've.. kinda..." he paused then the words rushed out of his mouth before he could thing about it

"Kissedfitz"

The words lay in the air between them

"Aaaand?" supplied Keefe

Tam stopped.

What?

He must've said it out loud cause Keefe elaborated

"Was it any good?" he asked, as chill as ever

"Uh... No?" it came out as more of a question

Keefe cocked his head to the side

"What does that have to do with the guilt?" he asked confueseldy

Tam's heart stopped

Did he not love him? did he not care?was it a fling what was going on?...

Keefe suddenly burst out into laughter

Tam's heart shriviled

Of course he didn't like you you moron, who likes a cheater?

"Is that what got you in such a tizzy?" Keefe snapped him out of his daze

"I-im sorry i-"

"Bangs boy" Keefe let out a wheeze

"Bangs boy?" Keefe started to get what was going on

"Tam"Tam looked up. Keefe never called him Tam.

"It's okay. Heck, I don't care" Tam looked down again, and Keefe lifted his chin gently with his fingertips

"I don't want to hold you back. Whatever small part of your heart is there for mee is more than appreciated"

Keefe stood up

"I have to go, but remember, I don't want to hold you back"

He lifted his crystal and leaped away, leaving Tam gaping after him because how could he think he was so worthless?
