Benito POV
"Pensé que dijiste que esa era tu Daniela?"
"Pero porque ella está actúando así?
"Beno tienes que comprenderla, lo que no entiendo porque ella fue así conmigo si no le hice na"
"Gabi tú puedes ir hablar con ella?"
"Esta bien"
Miré hacia la dirección done se fue Daniela y allí estaba caminando hacia nosotros.
Daniela POV
I decided to stop being petty and to just try to get along with him, I had nothing against Bernie so I'll get along with him just fine I just don't know about Benito. He looks so different now then he how he used to but I'm not complaining.
"Sorry i took long"
"No it's fine" Gabriela said
"So did you guys order yet"
"Yea we did"
The waiter came soon enough and gave us all our food except for Benito
"Y tú? No pediste nada?"
I might as well try and get along with him after all he's already here there's nothing I can really do.
"Me hablas a mi"
"Yes I mean I'm looking at you"
"Oh sorry Im not that hungry"
"Order at least a coffee"
"No im good really"
Knowing him, he'll definitely be hungry or want a coffee as soon as he sees us eat
I took a bite of my salad and then a sip of my iced tea. I was about to take another bite when I noticed Benito looking at me making me stop and stare back.
"What"
Even though I was staring at him, he wouldn't look away.
"Nothing" he said finally looking away
"So what are your plans after this"
"Nothing much I'm probably just going to sit at home and watch TV and just relax or maybe work on some articles"
"Oh where do you work" she asked
"I'm a journalist I work for a couple magazines but I mainly work for LATINA"
"Oh really that's so cool"
"Thank you, I really enjoy my work"
"You decided to peruse that dream huh" I heard Benito say
"Yea I did"
"What about you Bernie what have you been up to"
"'Nothing much I've been working a couple jobs helping Benito out with shows he does"
"How long have you two been together"
"Three years now" Gabriela smiled
"Awe that's so cute"
"What about you have you been any relationships recently or are you in one right now"
When Gabriela asked that I felt Benito's eyes staring at me.
"Well currently I do have a boyfriend and he's super great"
Benito POV
Cuando dijo eso, mi corazón se rompió. Yo quiero tanto estar con ella otra vez.
"How long have you been together if you don't mind me asking"
Que bueno que gabriela le está preguntando todo esto porque you también quiero saber pero obvio no le iba preguntar eso.
"I don't mind, we've been together for about three years now"

Daniela POV
I saw my phone ringing and it was Antonio, my boyfriend calling.
"Let me answer this it's my boyfriend"
"Hi babe"
"Hola mami donde estas"
"I'm at a cafe with my friend Gabriela"
"Okay I'm just calling to tell you that I just got paged to go to the hospital and I'll be back probably tomorrow if not later at night"
"Alright baby be safe see you later"
"Bye love you"
"I love you"
I put my phone back on the table and took a sip of my tea
"I'll probably be home alone, Antonio just got called into the hospital"
"Oh man if you want you can come over"
"Okay that'll be fun"
"Yea the whole family is having a barbecue"
"Like your family or their family?"
"Yea my family is going to be there but it's at Benitos house so his family is going to be there too"
"I didn't know you lived out here again" I turned to Benito
"Yea I love San Juan it's has a lot of great memories you know I couldn't stay away"
A lot of those memories were when him and I were together, sometimes I wish we could go back to those times.
"You know my moms going to be there" Bernie said
"Oh really then I'll be there"
I want to go now because I love Benitos mom she's so kind same with his dad but I especially loved his mom
"I just need to change first"
"You need the address"
"Yea gab can you send it to me please"
"Its okay I can do it, what's your number"
I gave him a look cause I know exactly what he's trying to do.
"Why are you looking at me like that"
"I know what you're doing"
"What do you mean"
"You're trying to get me to unblock you"
"Is it going to work"
He smiled at me and I couldn't help but to smile.
"Fine, this time"
