ꨄꨄꨄ Cate Blanchett's POV
Multiple hours pass by before Jacqueline finally awakes from her slumber and goes downstairs, "Mommy!!!" Jacqueline screamed as she went downstairs. Lorraine went out to go grocery shopping for tonight's dinner and apparently something extra so I decided to stay home with Jacqueline.
Jacqueline wandered into the living room and hopped on the couch, sitting next to me and staring at me waiting for a response out of me.
"Hi sweetheart." I finally spoke as I looked over, "Hi Catie I missed you!" She said hugging me and I gasped dramatically as she let go, "Really?! How much?!" I asked. "This much!" She said opening her arms as far as she could and I ticked her.
After me and Jacqueline played around the house for a bit I decided to show her my famous red carpet dresses.
Jacqueline was amazed the whole time I showed her the dresses and suits as well, "Put them on!" Jacqueline commanded. "Yes ma'am!" I laughed.
I tried on a few dresses and suits while Jacqueline sat and watched, and also rated the outfits. The suits were her favorite!
Soon after, Lorraine arrived back at home. "Is that mummy we hear?" I asked and she nodded, "Let's go see mummy." I said as I picked her up and we made our way downstairs.
When we arrived downstairs we were welcomed by Lorraine setting the bags down on the kitchen counter, "Mommy!" Jacqueline said making Lorraine turn around.
"Well hello my two favorite ladies!" Lorraine said, "What were you two doing while I was gone?" She asked as she leaned against the counter. "I saw mama Cate's dresses and suits!" Jacqueline said.
"Well you are one lucky lady because I still haven't got the chance to see them." Lorraine winked.
After a while of talking Lorraine decided to start working on dinner while me and Jacqueline played around outside.
"I'm gonna buy you a trampoline!" Jacqueline said as she hopped in my arms, "For what?" I laughed. "For when I visit! So we can have even more fun!" She giggled. "How about we make a deal..you convince mummy to come back for Christmas and you'll have a nice trampoline waiting for you."
"Okay!!!"
A/N: I honestly just realized Jacqueline could buy like fifteen trampolines since Lorraine is a literal Billionaire.
