—∗✩) ☘︎ (✩∗—Thankfully, Dahlia took a while to get dressed. By the time she opened her bedroom door, Jungkook was relaxed on the sofa scrolling through his phone and the pillow was back in its original place, it's assistance in covering his secret no longer needed.
"I am so, so sorry," she began, coming to sit in the chair adjacent to him. "I promise I was going to tell you I used your bathroom when you got back. My shower worked fine yesterday but I really needed a shower and I couldn't wait because I went on a run this morning and I got all sweaty and nasty and then I get in mine and I can hear the water but it's not coming out and I'm like oh my god, what did it do to it? What am I gonna do..."
Damn, could she breathe?
Jungkook blinked as he listened to the word vomit fall out of her mouth. He essentially saw her naked and she was more worried about how he would react to her using his bathroom than her privacy being violated. It was unintentional but still.
"...And then I called maintenance but they said they wouldn't be able to come take a look at it for two weeks. I'm really sorry."
Jungkook almost laughed. "Clover, it's ok."
"It's really ok? I promise I didn't touch anything unnecessary."
He nearly saw her naked and that's what she's worried about. Then again, she lived with like 30 people and was probably used to being walked in on.
This time, he did laugh, the amusement coming through his nose in short bursts. "It's ok," he nodded.
She visibly relaxed. "Ok. I know you're really particular about your things and I didn't want to... you know... make you feel violated."
Again, he nearly saw her naked—
"I appreciate that," he said. "Sorry for walking in on you."
"It's ok. I'm used to it," she shrugged.
He snorted his laughter at being correct about that but quickly sniffled to cover it up. "You said you can hear the water in the pipes but it's not coming out of the shower head?" He asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah. I don't know what I did to it. And that's crazy how no one can fix it for two weeks. What if both were broken? What are we supposed to do?"
"That's why I said not to call them and to tell me first if anything needed to be repaired, remember?"
Dahlia tucked her lips into her mouth before she answered honestly. "I'll admit, I thought that rule was bogus because you thought you owned the dorm and you were being a control freak."
Jungkook exhaled and looked at her flatly. "Fair judgement, but no. Just like a lot of things with this school, maintenance is also shitty. They take their sweet ass time coming out unless its an absolute emergency and they fuck shit up worse than it already was."
"Oh," she cringed. "That's why."
"Yes. Now may I go into your bathroom so I can take a look at it?"
"You're going to fix it?"
"I'm going to attempt. Hopefully it's an issue I know how to fix."
The phenomenon happened again. She smiled at him. Big. Dimples, teeth, gums, everything was showing, she was cheesing so hard.
"Really? Thank you," she beamed.
