When Jungkook looked up and saw Dahlia was about to wash the dishes she used to prepare the chili, he stood up and held out his hand for her to give him the dishcloth.

"What?" She asked, smiling as she looked at his open hand in confusion.

"Give me that."

"I got it."

He shook his head and held out his hand even firmer. "Give me. That."

"No," she chuckled.

"Ok, let's try our manners," he muttered to himself, rolling his eyes. Then with a sugared voice and a big smile, he asked, "May I have that please?"

"I'll wash them, Jungkook," she laughed. "I clean up after myself. I told you that already."

"I know that now but you shouldn't have to clean up after cooking when another perfectly able-bodied adult is here that can do it."

"You already cleaned up once."

"You already cooked once."

"Jungkook!"

"Tulip!"

"Why do you like to argue?" She laughed.

He shrugged and laughed too. "The same reason you like to be stubborn."

"I'm not being stubborn."

"Says that as she's literally being stubborn. Just give me the dishcloth."

"No."

"Fine. I'll get my own."

He stepped around her and grabbed a dishcloth from the drawer beside the sink. Laughing, she tried to block him from wetting it under the tap but he reached over her shoulder and did it anyway. Bubbles from her hands flew around as she repeatedly batted his hands away from the soap, and each attempt made them laugh harder.

He finally managed to get some soap on his dishcloth and bumped her with his hip. "Move."

She bumped him back but he hardly budged. "You move! I was here first!"

"Let me be a considerate person for once in my life!"

With one last hip bump from him, Dahlia finally relented. "Ok, fine! Wash the dishes!"

He stopped what he was doing and stared at her. "Don't tell me what to do," he muttered.

She held up her hands in exasperation. "I can't stand you right now," she laughed.

"Then sit me," he chuckled. "Go outside."

After drying her hands, she walked towards her room with heavy steps, smiling. "Don't tell me what to do."

He exhaled a chuckle and began tackling the rest of the dishes when she peeked back into the kitchen. When he finally looked up at her, she smiled.

"Thank you for doing the dishes, Jungkook."

He couldn't stop his smile from overtaking him but he twisted his mouth to try and mask it. "Thank you for cooking, Daisy."

Shaking her head, she merely chuckled before disappearing again. He shook his head too, more at himself than at her.

Even though he'd just eaten, the smell of the ground beef and spices coming from the pair of pots on the stove was making his mouth water. He would never admit it but he was looking forward to dinner.
