Amber eyes kept Dahlia motionless. As if putting her under a hypnotic spell, they held her there, making it impossible for her to move. Even if she wanted to, the soft feel of his full lips against hers and the passion felt within them would have quickly changed her mind.
He kissed her again, his tongue silently asking permission with a subtle brush against her lips, and she answered by parting them. Keeping his control, his tongue took the lead, dancing with hers while his hands held her tight to this body. Thoughts muddled, all she could do was softly moan into his mouth as he overloaded her senses.
Ending the kiss, Dominic stayed close, his forehead against hers, their noses nearly touching. He was out of breath and so was she, and warm air passed between them as his eyes seared her soul.
"I want you so bad, Dahlia," he whispered.
Her breathing quickened as warmth spread throughout her body. "I want you too."
Biting down on his lower lip, a hint of a smile made the corners of his mouth twitch upwards. "I didn't know you felt that way about me."
"I have for a while now," she quietly admitted.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He asked, moving closer to her lips. "I would have gladly obliged you."
Her eyes fluttered closed as he softly kissed her again, drinking in the aphrodisiac that seemed to trickle from his lips. It slowly drugged her with a lustful poison so delectable that she wanted more despite it gradually taking her over.
When he finally gave her the opportunity to speak, she attempted to answer his earlier question of why she'd never told him how she felt. "Because I... I just was..."
"Too shy?" He answered for her.
Rounded eyes looking pleadingly into his, she nodded.
He exhaled a smile, exposing the sharp, extended canines that gave his innocent face a dangerous edge. Lycan in appearance, they were a reminder that he was a predator-type, someone that a prey-type like her should inherently fear, yet here she was wanting him to do any and everything he wanted to her. It was contradictory but she found him as alluring as she did frightening.
His eyes glowed with want, seeming to encase the light of the full moon beneath his amber irises, keeping her under his lunar trance as he leaned in closer, kissing her deeply. He then went lower, following the path of her jaw, subtly nudging her head to the side before moving on to her neck. Eyes closed, she trapped her lower lip between her teeth, trying her best to suppress the moan that fought to break free when she felt his teeth graze her skin.
"Sunflower's been keeping secrets from me, huh."
An apology hang on her lips until the erotic haze clouding her mind cleared just enough to notice the name he called her. Confused, her brow furrowed and her heavy lids opened, blinking slowly as she remembered that Dom never called her that. Outside of 'my love,' he'd never called her anything besides Dahlia, and most certainly not another flower name. The only person that did that was—
Turning her head quickly, the glowing amber eyes that held her under their spell had been replaced by cinnamon. Although much darker, they still held the same want, the same passion, the same fire that the previous ones had, if not more.
Eyes wide, she found herself tangled in their combined blankets on the floor of the common area of their dorm instead of the unknown bed she'd been in prior. Hovering above her, Bun's large hands were gently yet tightly wrapped around her wrists, pinning her down and sealing his win in the play fight she somehow knew they'd just had.
