I appreciate you for checking out my book! I'm really excited for it and I hope you guys enjoy!
Just a few quick words before we get started.
Firstly, this book contains characters that are hybrids, meaning they are essentially human with some animal traits and physical characteristics. Because this was asked, I'm letting everyone know that this was not a result of beastiality. That is a violation of Wattpad's terms and conditions, and also illegal in many places. Plus it's extremely disturbing in my opinion.
They are the products of genetic modification, which I will go a little into during the story.
Next, there are many mature themes in this book such as alcohol use, drug use and sexual content, and potentially triggering topics such as self-harm and sexual coercion. By writing about these themes, I am in no way condoning nor encouraging any of these behaviors. I am just telling a story within a fictional universe.
Finally, some of the characters will often code switch depending on who they're speaking to and may express themselves in a more urban way. As a black author, their manner of speaking felt most comfortable given the geographical setting of the book, which is mostly in an urban yet collegiate area.
