Meanwhile the night after the storm, Ken woke up feeling a little better but something was still on his mind: who was that girl who had rescued him?

"Who was that girl who saved me?" He wondered.

He then remembered her beautiful singing voice.

"Her voice is all I can remember of her." He said quietly looking at the ocean.

Suddenly music began to play and Ken started to sing.

Khan: Where did she go?

Where can she be?

When will she come again

Calling to me?

Calling to me...

Calling to me...

Somewhere there's a girl

Who's like the shimmer of the wind upon the water

Somewhere there's a girl

Who's like the glimmer of the sunlight on the sea

Somewhere there's a girl

Who's like a swell of endless music

Somewhere she is singing

And her song is meant for me

And her voice

It's sweet as angels sighing

And her voice

It's warm as summer sky

And that sound

It haunts my dreams

And spins me round

Until it seems

I'm flying

Her voice

I can sense her laughter

In the ripple of the waves against the shoreline

I can see her smiling

In the moonlight as it settles on the sand

I can feel her waiting

Just beyond the pale horizon

Singing out a melody too lovely to withstand

And her voice

It's there as dusk is falling

And her voice

It's there as dawn steals by

Pure and bright, it's always near

All day, all night

And still, I hear it calling

Her voice

Strange as a dream

Real as the sea

If you can hear me now

Come set me free

Come set me free!

When he was done he sighed and sat on the ground sadly.

Sonic saw Ken and felt bad for him. "Man, I feel so bad for Khan. Maybe I can convince the others to stay for a few more days so that he can look for her." He said quietly then left.

After explaining to the others his idea, they agreed but they could only stay for a few more days before heading back to Mobius. Sonic thanked them and went to tell Khan.

"Hey Khan?" Sonic called out to Khan.

Ken turned around to see Sonic coming up to him.

"Yeah Sonic?" Ken asked to get up.

Sonic looked at him with sympathy. "I saw how sad you were and I believe you. So I've talked with the others and we've decided that we can stay a few more days to help you look for the girl." Sonic said, smiling at him.

Ken was shocked but then smiled. "Thanks Sonic, I really appreciate it." He said.

"Great so let's start looking." Sonic said and he and Ken walked away to go join the others and find the mysterious girl who had rescued Khan.

Once they had joined the others, Tails brought up a little problem. "Wait, we don't even know where this girl is." He said.

The others thought for a moment and then Sonia came up with an idea. "Well maybe she lives somewhere around here. So we'll look for her in this very area." She said.

Ken smiled, "Good idea Sonia." Ken said.

"Alright. Let's get to work." Sonic said and they all began the search for Sonata.
