Chapter 22: Thinking Out Loud.

Two years later....

One day Sonata was walking through the forest near Canterlot city, holding a piece of paper with a hand drawn map on it.

Ken had texted her earlier and said that he had a surprise for her and he also told her to dress up for this special surprise and to meet him there before sundown.

She was wearing a long strapless magenta dress and some pink heels. Her hair was down and she had a magenta hair clip holding it back.

She and Ken have been dating for about two years now. Her sisters went missing after their attack and nobody has seen them since. But she didn't mind, she was now free from her older sister's control.

'I wonder what surprised Ken has for me?' She wondered as she followed the map.

After about a few more minutes of walking she found herself in a garden near the school with flower petals on the ground, forming a path to an archway with Ken inside.

Ken was wearing a black suit with a red tie and a pair of black shoes.

Suddenly music began to play and Ken began to sing into a microphone he had in his hands.

Once Ken was finished singing, Sonata had tears in her eyes and clapped her hands.

Suddenly Ken walked over to her and got down on one knee.

He held Sonata's hands and began to speak.

"Sonata Dusk you are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life. Would you make me the happiest monkey in the universe and be my wife?" He asked before getting out a small black box and opening it up, showing a beautiful engagement ring inside.

The ring had a rose gold band with a turquoise gem in the center cut into the shape of a diamond, the band also had smaller aquamarine gems forming a path to the center gem on both sides.

Sonata gasped and covered her mouth, she then started to cry tears of joy.

"Yes." She said happily before hugging Ken and giving him a kiss.

Ken smiled before placing the ring onto her finger.

He then got up and they both shared a hug.

Soon all of their friends came from behind some bushes, with Sonic holding up a video camera.

"CONGRATULATIONS!" They all shouted before running up to give the newly engaged couple a big group hug.
