Takemichi's POV

I wonder how's Chifuyu doing, I heard he got out of the hospital yesterday. Hope he's doing fine.

"You, the one with the blond hair. Hanagaki Takemichi." Someone called

"Huh?" I said and looked around until I saw someone on the swing in the park.

"Chifuyu-kun" I murmured

"Come sit here" he said and point at the empty swing beside him. I went closer and sat down.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"I just want to thank you for taking me to the hospital." He said

"It's no problem at all. I wouldn't leave you there even if I didn't know you." I said and scratched my neck.

"You're so humble" he said and I laughed awkwardly. It was silent again.

"U-uhm if you don't mind me asking, why are you in Valhalla's hideout?" I asked

"I'm sure Baji-san already told you but it's to get my cousin out of there." He said

"Kaede-chan?" I asked

"Yeah"

"..."

"Kaede, was a kind but weak girl but she changed 3 years ago." He said

"Eh?"

"She suddenly hates Y/n-san and kept telling me that she's brainwashing Toman members, specially Mikey-kun." He said

"She hates Y/n-chan? Why?"

"Kaede, she fell in love with Mikey-kun."

"ehh?!"

"She isn't the one that holds too much grudge over things like that. But Mikey, he shut Kaede away when he was 12 and she thought that it was Y/n-san's fault" he said

Isn't that the time when Mikey-kun went back to the past? Why did he ignore her though? Y/n-chan isn't like that.

"After that, she kept telling him that he's being controlled by Y/n. I tried stopping her but she also said I was also being controlled." He said and clenched his fist.

"I didn't know Y/n-san too much at that time but from Baji-san's stories, she isn't like that. I tried to believe Kaede but it just doesn't feel right." He said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"It's like.. no. She is being manipulated to hate Y/n. I don't know who but I know someone did. After that, she suddenly started to train in fighting. It was like she was preparing to fight someone." He said

"Y/n-chan" I said and he nod.

"But when I saw her last time, it wasn't her intention to fight." he said

"huh?"

"She is planning to kill someone." he said and I was shocked

The conversation that I had with Kaede-chan came into my mind.

"Kill Y/n-chan??"

"She's completely being controlled. I tried taking her back but I couldn't that's why they beat me up." He said

Why would she kill Y/n if that's her only reason? Isn't that too shallow to be a reason to kill someone? Should I ask Mikey-kun? It seems that he knows her.
