Your POV

I decided to visit Haruto-nii-san's grave because I couldn't come last time. It was only me and Aki here.

"Have you been well, nii-sama?" I said after I lit the incense and put the flower down.

"I've been well too. I'm well prepared, all that's left is for the plan to take place." I said as the wind breeze blew.

"I'm sorry, nii-sama but I want my revenge." I said as I and Aki left the cemetery.

Back when I was only 6 years old. I was sitting in a corner of a funeral hall silently waiting for people who visit and pay their respect.

It was around that time when mom passed away. They said it was an accident but we all know it wasn't.

I know what is happening, I may be childish but I'm not so naive and clueless as they thought.

My eyes were dim and tired of crying. Dad was busy handling the group so he wasn't with me all the time.

Since I was only eight, I couldn't inherit the Yakuza group my mom left me. No one would let a child handle a group of grown men and organizations.

Mom was a respected person, not only did she single-handedly raise Hakuren-kai after her father, she was also the only woman in the Yakuza world to be accepted as the godfather, or in her case, the godmother.

The loss of a loved one weighed on me and I became obsessed with being perfect. I trained my body till I passed out secretly so my father won't stop me. I studied more than what they intended to teach. I practiced hiding what I feel and faking my emotions.

Soon, people were acknowledging me as the next leader of the family until it was finally solidified at the age of 8.

Even after that, my life was on a constant cycle on repeat. I learn I train, I practice, I move, I improve.

My life was dull but I tried to be happy for my dad. He suffered too so I didn't want to be a burden.

I thought that my life would be like this till I die but I was wrong.

"Y/n, meet your new siblings. Haruto and Akio." Papa said

He introduced two orphans that he decided to adopt. The boy named Haruto looks weak but smart and the girl named Akio looks strong but dumb.

"Nice to meet you, Haruto-nii-chan, Akio-nee-chan." I said and smiled.

"Nice to meet you too, Y/n-chan." Haruto said and smiled as he nudged the girl beside him.

"Akio, introduce yourself. Don't be rude." He said.

"Hi." She only said.

I didn't mind having anyone in the house because it's too quiet and we would rarely cross paths anyways.

Or so I thought.

"Good morning, Y/n-chan!" Haruto would always say in the morning.

"Good morning, Nii-san." I said in response.

He kept trying to talk to me whenever he can and ask help for with some problems with his studies. Akio would also try to ask for a spar but Haruto would disagree.
