Your POV

"Sorry for being late, Y/n-sama. I was distracted by someone on the way." Aki said and I can guess who it was.

"It's okay but can you finish this quickly? I still have something to do at home." I said

"As you wish." She said and I went near Takemicchi and the others and my legs just gave up. The cold isn't helping too.

"Y/n-chan! Are you okay?" Hina asked while she helped me stand up. Yuu-chan also help me balance.

"Yeah, I was just tired that's all." I said with a smile and she sighed in relief. 

"Is your face okay? You got hit earlier." Takemicchi worriedly asked

"I'm fine" I said

"That's a relief." He said

"But you know, Takemicchi." I said in a dangerous tone and he looked nervous.

"Y-yes?"

"You just threw my order a while ago right?" I said with a smile and an irk mark in my face.

"W-well, you were about to get hit so my body just moved on my own." He nervously said while averting his eyes from my gaze, I just sighed.

"Takemicchi, do you not have any trust in me?" I said with a pout.

"N-no, it's not that.." He said

"Listen, I know that you did that to protect me and thank you for that, from the bottom of my heart." I said and he blushed

"N-no need to thank me, I just did what I had to do.." He shyly said and I held his shoulder and looked at him.

"But, also, please always remember that you're human too and not a just cannon fodder or a punching bag." I said

"I know I'm weak and probably the weakest in Toman but I can't just stand by while you get hurt." He said

"Takemichi-kun" Hina muttered

"It's true that your weak at fighting but your the strongest of all us. Some are starting to realize that too." I said

"Huh?"

"I know that you'll see it soon too and as for my point, you didn't have to block that guy's attack for me because I could've dodged that." I said with a sigh and I sat down.

"Really? But you didn't even take a stance or something." He said and I raised a brow

"I did." 

"Huh? But we just saw you stand there when you we're about to get hit." Hakkai-kun said

"I wouldn't make it obvious for the enemy so I need to fool my allies too." I said in a matter of fact tone.

"How?!" The two boys asked excitedly and I signaled them to huddle along with the girls.

"It's the footing." I said and point at my feet.

"Huh?!" They all asked and I smiled

"I have to stay composed and look unbothered while I change my footing. When in a fight, the first thing the enemy will read is your expression because your face could tell what would you do next." I said

"Really?"

"Yeah, have you ever seen someone fight while looking at other parts of the body first other than the face? None right? That's why, if you look helpless, you could make your enemy believe that they have the upper hand." I said proudly.

"S-so cool!" They said and it boost my ego.

"Right? That's why when I tell you to not interfere, it means I can handle it just fine. I'm not the type to pick fights I can't win." I said
