Your POV

Mikey and the others have finally left after we ate dinner and Aki also just arrived home.

"Welcome back, Aki" I greeted

"I'm back, Y/n-sama." She said

Yuzuha and Hakkai are upstairs after washing the dishes. I was just getting water when Aki arrived.

"Oh by the way, here's your coat that you used to cover Taiju last time." I said and gave the coat.

"You should've put it in the laundry for me to wash." She said

"But it's already washed." I said

She examined the coat and even smelled it to be sure.

"You're right." She said

I also thought that they didn't wash it so I was about to put it in the laundry basket. They even used a rose-scented fabric conditioner.

I went back to my room after saying good night to Aki and found Yuzuha laying on the bed. We share a room so Hakkai could have the guest room. It's winter so I don't want him to sleep on the couch.

"Are you going to sleep already?" she asked

"I think I will, I feel kinda tired after what happened today." I said

"Same, I think I'll go to sleep too." She said and made space for me on the bed.

"Good night" she said as I closed the lamp.

"Good night" I replied and closed my eyes.

"..."

"..."

"By the way, you smell familiar." She said

"Hmm?"

"Do you use the Brand X rose-scented fabric conditioner?" She asked

"No, we usually use Brand Y, the lavender one. Why?" I replied

"No, it's just that Taiju uses that for his "special clothes" or something. He won't even let us use it." She said

"Oh, maybe the scent from Aki's coat stuck to me. You know the one that we used to cover him in the cold." I said

"He washed it?! Taiju did?!" She asked and sat up.

"I don't know, maybe he asked someone else." I said

"No, it would be impossible because he washes his own clothes." She said

"Then, the answer is he washed it himself. What's wrong with that?" I asked

"Nothing's wrong but it's unusual for him to wash other's clothes besides his, not to mention that he used the fabric conditioner for "Special" clothes." She said and laid back down.

"Well, maybe he was just thankful that we saved his sorry ass." I said with a light chuckle.

"He's not like that though. Ah, whatever." She said and covered herself with a blanket.

A while later, I felt Yuzuha come closer to me and hugged my arm.

"Are you still scared from the movie we watched?" I asked

"No" she said but only tightened her grip.

"Okay" I said. Why can't she just admit it, I saw her holding Taka-kun's arm for dear life earlier.

I lightly chuckled and tried to sleep. I still have some work to do tomorrow, I need to get some rest.
