Past Lovers?

Lloyd pov:

"The girls, well, they have 3 biological parents. Kai Smith, Cole Brookstone, and Lloyd Garmadon."

Cole and I were in shock. We were parents?! Of our crushes kids?!

"Papa?"

I look over to the blonde girl, I now know is named Kailey.

"Yes?"

"Daddy is having a dream."

"Oh really?"

"Mhm, he's talking to him."

She answered pointing to Zane.

I wonder what he would be talking about with Zane in his dream...

Whatever.

In Kai's dream(the rest of the Convo from when they first saw his other abilities)(Kai pov):

"Kai.. are you gay.. for Lloyd and Cole?"

Zane asked me.

"Zane... Well, um... Yes.."

"Well?"

"Well, what?"

"Are you going to ask them out?"

"Heavens no!"

"Why not? You like them, they like you."

"I'm just not ready.. for another relationship yet... My last one didn't go well.."

"I see... What if they asked you?"

"I'd explain my situation, but respectfully decline."

"... May I ask what happened in your last relationship?"

"Well, it.. was hard. It was a relationship of three, in Alex's lab. We were ripped apart from each other, forced back together, and to.. breed... We were only 10. And after we escaped, Alex caught them off guard and injected them with something to force them to forget the years in his lab. Forcing them to forget me along with it."

"I'm.. so sorry, Kai."

"Don't be, that was years ago, I just.. don't want another relationship yet. Get some rest Zane, I know you need it."

"Ok.. thank you for talking with me Kai."

"No problem, Zane."

I woke up.

My twin girls wrapped me in a hug as soon as I sat up.

"Hey girls."

Lloyd and Cole looked at me with eyes full of love and a bit of.. sadness?

"Kai.. why didn't you tell us.. that we three have kids together?"

Cole spoke up. I looked down a bit.

"I.. was scared..."

"But why?"

Lloyd spoke up that time.

"I'm not the only one on this team with other powers.. nor the only one on this team that was stuck in the lab... Cole, your mother was one of the first in your family there, her maiden name was Lily Todoroki... Lloyd, your father and uncle were two of the first in yours, your family's true name is Mineta, not Garmadon, that's just your father's first name... You both don't remember, but you both were partially raised In the lab."

Lloyd and Cole looked at me then each other, probably out of pure shock from what they just heard. Zane spoke up and asked a question.

"Kai, were Lloyd and Cole in your past relationship?"

I hesitated for a second, feeling all of their eyes on me, but I eventually nod.

"WE DATED?!"

Lloyd and Cole shouted at the same time.

"How are you more surprised that we dated than having twin girls together?!"

I close my eyes, rubbing my temples, and taking a deep breath.

"I'm sorry, it's just... Idk.. sudden? To quick for me to actually believe? ... I just.. need some time."

With that I stood up and took the girls to my room.

Lloyd pov:

"Should we go after him, or give him a couple hours?"

It had already been 10 minutes since Kai left with Kaitlyn (black haired girl) and Kailey, when I asked Zane and Cole.

"I want to go after him, but.."

"You both need to give him some time... But I have an idea to cheer him up."

"Let's hear it."

Cole told Zane.

"Well, ----------"
