Unexpected Surprises

Cole pov:

It's the end of day 3 at this god forsaken lab. Kai has gone basically mute. He has so many wounds that it hurts to look at him right now, his wings are literally hung up on a wall, and he's been in the bathroom for an hour already!

How are we going to get out of here?

"Cole, just trust Kai." Lloyd told me.

"I do... I'm just worried. He hasn't come out of the bathroom for an hour and we don't even know how he is going to try and get us out!" I rambled a bit. A clone came by.

"Where is Kaite?" It asks. We point to the bathroom, it nods and walks off. Nya walks over to the bathroom door and knocks. Kai knocks back and she opens the door.

"What are you planning?" She asks. He points to the back of his neck, then kinda does jazz hands. "You're going to fry the chip in your neck and then destroy this place?" She asks quietly. Kai nods.

Kai walks out of the bathroom, up to the glass like substance keeping us in.

"Alure!"(ah-lur-e) He shouted. The glass, both in front of him and holding his wings, shattered. His wings reattached to the rest of his body somehow, and he was off.

The clones where instantly alarmed of this and started attacking him.

(Warning: I have never written a fight scene before this)

There where at least 100 clones after him. Using the tentacles as weapons. He defended himself and counter attacked better than we've ever seen before.

"Katara! Kids!" He yelled to us as he pulled out-, WHERE THE HELL DID HE GET A GUN?!

"Cole! Come on!" Zane yelled at me. I ran after my team, looking to free everyone that we can.

"Anyone have vengestone?!" Kai asked out. Nya threw something at Kai. Why does he need vengestone?

Suddenly, the cell in front of us's glass shattered, then a look a like of the clone from day one walked out.

"Katara! Run!" Nya yelled. She nodded and ran-, holy **** she's fast! I'd bet she'd beat the master of speed in a race!

I looked over to see how Kai was doing, and he was using the vengestone as a shield! He had stretched the vengestone out just enough so it could be used as a shield. It seems that it's like kryptonite to the clones! How did he know that?

"Prince Kai! Omg! I'm such a huge fan!" A werewolf girl that had been freed yelled to him.

"He's in the middle of a fight, best not to distract my mate." I stated bluntly, stressing the word my. She looked me up and down.

"Do you think I'm an idiot? Obviously. Prince Kai has better taste than vampire scum like you." She insulted me.

"Cole! We have to get the girls! Kai is holding the clones off, but we need to hurry!" Lloyd yelled at me.

"No! She thinks that Kai isn't our boyfriend cause I'm a vampire!" I told him.

"Ugh, fine! The rest of us are going to get the girls!" He yelled. They then ran to look for the girls.

"You little b*tch, you can't take the prince away from his princess." The girl told me.

"Oh yeah? What if the prince doesn't want a princess, but a prince or two?" I ask her. She froze.

"Y-you mean to tell me you didn't take advantage of him? Cause of his heartache from his past mates' sudden disappearances?" She asked.

"Listen very closely. I am one of his past mates. I was raised in a human world after my mind had been wiped and he still got with me." I explain.

"Babe! Help!" Kai yelled, I looked over. The clones had overpowered him. I look at the b*itch.

"Stay. Here." I tell her before using my elemental powers to push most of the clones off my boyfriend.

"Thanks for the save, babe. And who's that girl over there?" Kai asked me after killing the rest of the clones that were on him.

"Some b*tch that thinks you're hers." I tell him while killing some clones that were coming at me.

"Oh... Hey Cole."

"What?" I ask him.

"I'm about to do something stupid." He tells me.

"Wha?!-"

"I'm going to force a power surge." He tells me.

"Why?! Are you crazy?!" I yell.

"It's the only way I can see we will both get out of this alive!" He's starting to struggle again. I sigh.

"Alright, you power up. I'll cover you." I tell him before he goes dead silent and still. Before I can register anything, everything is engulfed in a bright white light.

I hear ringing.

"-le!... Cole!... Cole! Can... Hear me!" I hear a voice yell out. I sit up. When did I even get on the ground?

"Cole... rest!" The voice sounds familiar... Lloyd?... No... It's Kai!

"Cole, please stop being stubborn and listen to me!" He was yelling.

"What... Happened?" I sounded hoarse.

"We won. Everyone is going home... But I accidentally hurt you with the power surge... This is the first time in 2 hours you've responded to us." I finally opened my eyes, he was crying.

"Baby... It's okay." I tell him. He kisses me, I obviously kissed back as best I could. Though I wouldn't admit it, everything hurts, making it harder to breathe, so I broke the kiss.

"Cole, you scared me so f***ing bad... Don't do that again." He pressed his forehead against mine, crying as he told me that.

"Sorry hun. No promises." I tell him quietly, giggling a bit. "I'm still one of your mates and a ninja, after all."

He groans a bit. "I hate when you say that, but let's get you home." He smiles a bit.

"I like the sound of that." He picked me up and we started to go home.

"Get some rest for now, ok babe?" He tells me.

"I will." I tell him before falling asleep.
