Optimus: Might I lend a word of advice to you Laney?
Laney: Okay.
Optimus: I may not know how to help you. But, I do know this. Even in the darkest night, the brightest light will guide our way.
Laney: What does that mean?
Optimus: In the past of Cybertron before we came along, there were two entity's. Solar, the Cybertronian goddess of the sun and Lunar, the Cybertronian god of the moon. The two of them made balance for our home world.
Laney: Wow.
(Everyone stopped to listen to Optimus)
Optimus: As time went on, Lunar became resentful. The Cybertronians enjoyed the day Solar brought forth. But, slept through Lunar's night. One day, Lunar got corrupt with the darkness of the moon and refused to lower it to make way for the sun. Solar tried to reason with him. But, the bitter in Lunar's spark turned him into a monster who used dark energon to shroud CYbertron into an eternal night. With no choice, Solar used her own light inside her spark to defeat Lunar. However, it came at a price for Solar. She had to sacrifice her life. Then, her spirit took responsibility for the sun and the moon since then.
Laney: Whoa! I'll keep that in my mind.
