"This is a bad idea" i murmur softly to myself as i shine my flashlight around the haunted asylum that we are back at for some reason, cal suggested we come here to get Dannies mind of Sydneys absence and also because they wanted to see it for themselves after the crazy story we have told them. And I wanna start making it up to jacko by protecting him from demons and shit like that.

"So cool" cal mumbles shining their flashlight around arm wrapped around April's shoulder, thankfully they are friends now and no longer wanting to fight each other. April blames Dannie for leaving Syd out so tensions between them are still at large.

"I still Don't know how you guys went off alone in the dark when you were trying to scare us, like weren't you scared?" Jackson asks looking between april and karol

"Oh i was fine, i don't believe in ghosts and I'm not scared of the dark" April shrugs before nudging karol and laughing "this bitch on the other hand was crying on the phone to me because she was scared on her own"

Karol pushes April "hey! I wasn't that scared, and anyway we spent most of the time with each other"

While the girls are debating over who was scared the most Jackson stands next to me shining his flashlight around the room

"Do you think we could ditch these guys at some point?" He asks looking up at me with a small smile

"Why, do you want to make out with me or something" i joke laughing but he just stares back at me with a straight face the corners of his mouth doesn't hint at any form of smile and his face is relaxed, not right as it normally is when he's trying his best to look serious. I pretend I don't know when he's trying to hold back laughter and hold a serious face but I do know.

"Wait seriously!"

"No you idiot, it would just be fun to go exploring just me and you for a bit without those loud guys with us" he shrugs handing me something from his pocket handing me a necklace with what looks to be a black crystal

"What's this for?" I ask curiously moving the dark stone around in my hand

"It's Jet it's like a strong protection crystal and it protects against negativity and curses and stuff, I have one too" he smiles showing me his, it's like the one he gave me just a little bit more worn, I hope he didn't buy one just for me.

"Jack i - im sorry but I don't really believe in this stuff, it's just hard to believe I mean it's just a rock" I say with a frown handing it back to him and he accepts taking it back in his hand, i don't want to be ungrateful I just don't get how people can think these rocks will help them in any way.

"Yeah well I do" he snaps moving around to my back and placing the necklace around my neck "so stop whining and wear it and forget about going of on our own"

Clearly he's still mad at me. Oh well I guess he should be I really fucked up, I just don't get why he offered to go off alone with me then switched to snapping at me.

Jackson then proceeds to give me a dirty look before walking over to Dannie who is staring into space with a frown. Now that's a bit dramatic, I only said I don't believe in these stupid bits of shiny rock, but it was a nice gesture I guess, I should have just shut my mouth and taken it.
