Anne's POV

"Trevor, are you sure na ayaw nyo'ng sumamang mag-dinner? I'll be with Paul and Hernandez.. don't you want your wife to meet some OLD FRIENDS of yours?"

"No Allan. I want to spend the rest of the night with my wife." at hinigpitan ni Trevor ang hawak sa kamay ko.

Sumeryoso ang mukha ni Fajardo, matapos ay ngumiti, "Are you avoiding us? Apat na taon ka na naming hindi nakikita."

"Ofcourse not. I just have been really busy. And right now, I just need some time alone. With. My wife. Now, if you'll excuse us, aalis na ako. Kami."

"Yes.. please proceed. Have a good night ahead.. Trevor." at tumingin ito saakin, "And you too beautiful Anne."

"I need you to stay away from him Anne.."

"Alam ko naman Trev.. Ayoko rin naman sa lokong yun.. Simula pa nung unang araw.."

"Why? May ginawa ba sya sa'yo?"

"H-ha? Wala naman.. Di ko lang ano..tipo yung mga ganong lalake.."

He put down his spoon and fork.

"If he does anything wrong to you.. tell me straight. You got it?"

I nodded.

"Bakit ba galit na galit ka dun? I mean, the way you react.. may nangyare ba sa inyo? You guys seems to know each other well.."

"He used to me my friend."

"Pati yung si.. sino yun? Hernandez?"

"Yes. Close friends."

"Eh yung tinutukoy nyang si Paul?"

"Especially that guy. The closest I have."

"Ah.. nasaan na sya ngayon? Tyaka baket parang galit ka kay Fajardo? Anong nangyare? Pwede bang malaman?"

"Just eat Anne. We USED to be friends. End of the story. Katulad ng sinabi mo noon. Past is past. What's important is the future. The present. Us."

"Eh paano kung ibahin ko yung sinabi ko Trevor. Paano kung sabihin ko sa'yo na iba na ang tingin ko ngayon. Pwede mo na bang sabihin saakin?"

"Wala na akong pakielam sa nakaraan.. Katulad mo, i'm concerned only of the present. Mga kaibigan ko lang yon.. No big deal.. okay? Kain ka na.."

"Sorry.. gusto ko lang naman malaman."

"I know baby.. one day, pag-handa na ako. Sasabihin ko sa'yo..ang nakaraan ko..ang lahat lahat. Pati narin yang sila Fajardo.. I promise."

I smiled at him, "Hindi na kailangan. Tanggap naman na kita.. Kahit ano pa yan."
