Elle's POV

Nagising ako na nasa sofa si Owen.

Bandang alas kwatro ng umaga.

Kinukuskos ko pa ang mga mata ko ng itanong ko kung gusto ba nya mag kape, "Coffee?"

"I'll go with mocha frappé. Ice cold."

"Has Anne called you?"

"She sent me a message. Around two in the morning."

"What did she say?"

"Trevor is having a fever."

Napakagat sa labi nya si Elle.

"I don't want to make Anne a lier, Elle.."

"I understand you."

"She's such a fine lady.."

"Okay. Uhm..what's your next plan?"

"To set her free.."

"How?"

"..i can't actually do it, you know. I can't break up with her."

"Well.. It's only either you break up with her or she break up with you."

"It will hurt the same amount.."

Umiling ako.

"It will hurt more if she breaks up with you."

"No Elle.. It's the equal amount of pain.. Both choices results in me losing her."

Nandito kami ngayon sa Starbucks..

Tinext ko narin si Anne.. Na nandito nga kami.. Nag taxi.

"Has she replied?"

Umiling ako, "no."

Napahinga ng malalim si Owen.

"Help me Elle."

"With?"

"My plan."

"With what?"

"How do I handle this Elle.."

"It's up to you, Owen. I've got nothing in mind that can help you."

Napahinga sya ng malalim.

He took his phone and sighed again.

Anne's POV

"F-ck." bigkas ko paulit ulit ng nabasa ko ang message sa cellphone ko.

*Hey beautiful. Good morning.. I miss you.*

"Anne? Saan ka pupunta?" Inaantok na tanong ni Trevor, hindi pa bukas ang mga mata.

"Pupuntahan ko si Owen. Shit Trevor! Ano ba tong ginagawa natin!"

*Don't wonder at all about why I didn't try to contact you. I totally knew that you were in the arms of the person you truly love with all your heart.*

"Diba napagusapan na natin ito Anne? You agreed how we'll stand up together while we were making love."

"We're being selfish Trevor, kung itutuloy pa natin ito. Hindi mo ba napapansin? Nakakasakit tayo ng tao."

"So, sa paningan mo Anne. Hindi ako tao? Ano ba tong sitwasyon na inihaharap mo saatin? One minute you want to be with me. The next minute gusto mo kay Owen. Sabihin mo nga Anne. Ano ba talaga?"

*I didn't know that it will turn out this way. Oh--Anne, I have so much to say. But the whole point is that, I'm letting you go. But if you come and see me now and try to love me as you promised.. i'll make sure you are never to see Trevor again..*

Napatuyo ako at napahawak sa ulo.

"I want to make both of you happy."

"You know you can't do that. Now Anne, I want you to choose. Ako. O si Owen. I want an answer now Anne. Because if you choose him. You are never seeing me. Ever again. I'll have MY kids flown to my house for vacations. At ayokong makita kahit na anino mo."
