Izuku was doing his homework when Hizashi came home and Shota pulled his husband into their room to discuss the request. They spoke in hushed whispers, but both reluctantly agreed. They gave their son strict instructions, he had to call Shota as soon as he got to Bakugos house, and if he called even a minute past 3:20 the hero would go and pick him up. He had to have Mrs. Bakugo call as soon as she arrived home too. They weren't allowed to leave the yard without either of the parents present, and he had to be ready by six to be picked up by Hizashi.
Their son quickly ran to the phone to call his friend as Hizashi wrote down the instructions for the next afternoon knowing his son had already forgotten them as Shota pouted at the table.
So the boys began training, and their huffing and puffing decreased as the weeks went by. Not one of the rules altered, but the anxiety became more manageable for the two parents. Their son was happy, a little more tired than usual but that didn't affect the radiant energy he gave. He always ate seconds every night, and began asking for more food in his lunches which neither parent protested.
It was about the sixth week of training when Izuku approached Bakugo with a request, "Fight me, Kacchan!"
The blonde raises his eyebrows. He knew he could beat his friend, but he wanted to see how the strength training has been working.
The fight was short, but longer than they both expected it to be. After a swift kick to the stomach, Izuku can't help but grin after his defeat, "That was awesome, Kacchan!"
Bakugo smiles back at him and helps him off the ground, "Of course it was! I'm awesome!" He taunts.
Izuku pushes his friend which causes another wrestling match to ensue until both boys are covered in grass stains and dirt. They lay on the ground laughing before Izuku says, "I think we did pretty good, but we need to learn some actual fighting techniques."
Bakugo huffs, but knows he's right, "Yeah, I think so too."
They brainstorm different ways to learn, from YouTube tutorials, to watching hero videos, to asking Eraserhead (which Izuku quickly shuts down). Bakugo huffs, knowing that his dad had one of the most impressive fighting styles of all hero's, especially with how successful he was fighting quirkless.
They agree to study YouTube tutorials on their own and see how that works before they go back to strength training, racing to see who can finish fifty pushups first.

After a particularly bad dream that weekend, Izuku made his way to his parents bedroom. Aizawa was on patrol and upon feeling the pressure on the bed, Hizashi opens his eyes and spreads his arms for his son to cuddle into him, "Do you want to talk about it baby?"Izuku shakes his head. He's opened up to them a few times before, but he just wants to go back to sleep in his papas arms.
Hizashi wakes up a couple hours later to his husband getting under the covers. He glances at the clock, "Sho? Is everything alright?
Aizawa presses his head into his husband, their son in between them. Hizashi notices the tears in his eyes and places a kiss on his forehead, "It was bad, Zashi."
The blonde slowly moves his arm so as not to wake their son and places it on his husbands cheek, "Are you okay?"
Aizawa holds up his wrist, which even in the dim light he can see bruising littering the skin, "It's just a sprain," he whispers.
Izuku listens, careful to keep his breathing even though tears are welling in his eyes. His dad was hurting. He felt the man place a kiss in his hair and he decides.
Before either man can say a word, Izuku turns and grabs his dads hand, placing it on his forehead. It had been so long since he had used his quirk, but he wasn't scared. He just wanted his dad to be better. "Zuku?" Aizawa asks.
