"I don't understand why I have to come."

Fuyumi sighs, holding her brothers shoes out to him, "Dad wants you to get some clothes for the banquet tonight-"

"I have dress clothes-"

Predicting her brothers words she cuts him off, "Specifically dress shoes so you don't use your feet hurting to bail out early." Shoto sighs, taking the shoes from her and sitting on the steps to put them on, "Plus, he wants you to get some things for school."

"I wear a uniform for school," he grumbles.

Natsuo slings an arm around his shoulder, "C'mon Sho! You get to help me get some things for my dorm room!"

Without a word he stands, pushing his brother off of him and walks to the door.

The three take a bus to the mall, though two are capable of driving and have vehicles, they always get a bit antsy behind the wheel. They start in a home store where Natsuo purchases a new mattress, bedding, and pillows. The little brother wanders off towards the office supplies section before the two Todoroki siblings get into a heated debate about coffee tables.

He picks out a few notebooks and a fancy leather planner. He makes his way over to the pens, debating on a pack of twenty or twenty five but he's knocked to the ground by a boy with green hair.

Both eyes widen as the stranger scrambles off of him, "I'm so sorry!" He giggles, looking behind him as if he's waiting for someone.

The crash was loud, and he helps the boy pick up his things, shoving them into Shoto's arms as a blonde woman appears around the corner behind presumably her son who the boy seemed to be running from, "Boys! Knock it off!" She shouts loudly. She gets red when she notices everyone looking at her. The woman looks at Todoroki and apologizes, dragging both boys out of the store by the ear.

He watches as the green haired boy is pulled away. He was cute, he can't help but think to himself.

Soon his brother and sister find him, so he quickly decides to purchase the 25 pack of colorful pens, as well as the pastel set of ten. They help him grab some mechanical pencils and go to the front of the store to set up delivery options for the mattress, pillows, a coffee table, and a set of dishes Natsuo absolutely HAD to have.

Shoto was quiet the rest of the trip. He didn't even complain as his sister dressed him up and left the store with far more than he needed. But hey, it was his dads money and they had plenty of it.

It took about two days for the youngest Todoroki to stop thinking about the freckled kid he had met in the store. Well, maybe not met, quite literally ran into. At the end of the week was a banquet, where he would soon learn that the boy wouldn't be leaving his mind anytime soon.

The first time they see Endeavor all week is when he returns home to pick them up for the banquet. They're all waiting quietly in the entryway, conversing among themselves when they hear their father approach. Without meaning to, the three fix their postures as he enters.

He's almost shocked to see them, "Um, you guys look very nice."

They walk out to the car. Fuyumi plays the music and talks with her father while the boys in the backseat fight over who has to sit on the end during dinner. They've been to plenty of these things, and knew even without seeing the seating chart that Fuyumi would end up on one side of Dad, and one of them would sit on the other with the last kid having to sit next to a stranger.

Eventually, when the fight results in ice covering the window by Shoto's head, Endeavor looks back in the mirror, "Enough!" He reaches back to melt the ice on the interior of his car, "Shoto, you sat by me last time, it's Natsuo's turn."
