Izuku had been gone for four days.
After Bakugos rescue, it was made clear that their son was with Hisashi, and no one had any clue where. They had placed all of their bets on the bar and warehouse of the League of Villains.
It was decided that Hisashi was more of an independent contractor of the League, and most likely wouldn't be in a place connected to them.
So they were back where they have been the last three years. Chasing the ghost of a man who abused their son. Except now Hisashi had Izuku.
The two heroes were sitting at their kitchen island, both exhausted with dark bags under their eyes as they continue to discuss the events of the rescue.
Amajiki walks into the kitchen. He's spent the last three nights with Mirio and appears to be just as tired as his parents. The two pairs of eyes follow him to the fridge where he pulls out a cheese stick and a juice box, "I think I'm gonna head back over to Mirio's in a little bit, I'll make sure to text you guys when I get there," he says nervously before attempting to walk back to his room.
Hizashi stops the boy, "Tamaki, I'd really like if you'd stay here for the night. You only came back a few hours ago."
"Why?" He asks, catching the men off guard.
Aizawa narrows his eyes, "We'd like to see you too, you know."
Amajiki tries to be brave. Mr. Aizawa could be scary when he wanted to, "You're seeing me now."
"You're staying in tonight," Aizawa responds with a tone with no room for argument, "You can FaceTime your boyfriend if you really need to see him."
Amajiki shakes his head, turning to go back to his room, "I'm sorry, but I'm going to go with Mirio."
"No, you are not." Hizashi speaks gently, "Stay in, we'll watch a movie together tonight, order in some takeout."
The boy looks back at them, with an anger in his eyes he's never seen before, "You can't tell me what to do, you aren't my dads. Why don't you just worry about Izuku and maybe do something to actually find him."
The boy slams his bedroom door shut, leaving both men staring after him in disbelief. When he doesn't come back out to apologize Hizashi puts his head in his arms onto the counter.
Aizawa rubs his husbands back. As much as he hated the attitude from Amajiki, it was, in a way, a little relieving. He used to be terrified to talk to the two, they never thought he'd be comfortable enough to talk back to them. Still, the two men needed to have a discussion on how to address this.
In his room, the boy quickly grabs his backpack. He debates taking his phone with him, but ultimately decides against it. He just needed the two to leave him alone for the night. He had to help his friends. He had to help his little brother.
The boy opens his window, looking below to make sure no one's around before activating his quirk, using two tentacles to help him swing to the ground. As he walks to meet up with his friends, he thinks about his words and grimaces. He'd definitely have to apologize later, he didn't mean it in the slightest. It just, wasn't fair that the rest of the groups parents let them do practically whatever they wanted.
Fuyumi Todoroki lets him into the house, and he blushes slightly as she welcomes him back. So, he had lied to his foster parents in the last few days, but they had a lot on their plate and they didn't need to worry about what he was getting up to.
When he got up the stairs to Shoto's room, both him and Bakugo were already at work, though their arguing seems to be slowing down their progress. There's a reason the two weren't allowed to work together.
