All the students are frozen, unable to move.

Todoroki is still on the ground, looking where his boyfriend just was and willing him to reappear. He was only a few feet away from him.

He hears Uraraka begin to cry and Tokoyami says quietly, "We need to get back to camp."

The others slowly get up, he hears footsteps behind him but he still stares straight ahead, unmoving, unblinking, "Todoroki..." Tsu says, putting a hand on his shoulder.

He flinches away from it, "Go without me. I'm staying here."

"We, we need to stay together, kero. There could be more people out here."

"I don't care." He needs to be here in case they come back. They still might come back.

"Someones coming," Shoji says, the four preparing for fight as the footsteps run closer. They all relax when they see their teacher.

He instantly goes to restrain Muscular, the villain they had knocked unconscious, firing questions at his students, "Where's Midoriya and Bakugo? Momo said they would be with you. Are there any other villains?"

Shoji explains the villains have left, but that leaves his first question unanswered, "Where is Bakugo and Midoriya?"

The girls have tears falling from their faces as they finally allow themselves to cry and feel their pain. Shoji tries to answer, but his voice breaks so he stops. Tokoyami just stares at his feet in shame.

Aizawa notices the boy who hasn't moved since he arrived. He approaches him, kneeling down, "Todoroki, where is Bakugo and Midoriya?"

The boys face breaks as he throws his arms around his teacher, crying quietly. He's panicking, unable to catch his breath, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he says over and over again. His hyperventilating leads him to pull away, turning to the side to vomit. He continues heaving, even when there's nothing left coming out, which causes the girls to cry even harder. Aizawa notices tears dripping onto Shoji's mask.

"Shoto, I need you to answer that question. Please."

With his chest shaking, his hands covered in his own puke as he uses his arms to hold himself up, he just closes his eyes and shakes his head, "They... They took them."

When the police and reinforcements arrive, they heroes are able to get a more thorough story from the kids. They hear how Kendo and TestuTetsu were able to defeat the villain using a poisonous gas quirk, and how Momo and Awase were being pursued by a Nomu. Shoji explains how Dark Shadow was out of control, but able to defeat the escaped death row convict.

Todoroki doesn't say a word. He had to be dragged back to camp and to the ambulances where he was assessed. But he heard Tokoyami explaining what happened. Tears fill his eyes once again as the boy describes how Izuku gave himself up for him. Mr. Aizawa looks pale as the police woman asks gently, "Were either of them injured?"

"Bakugo was a little cut up... But Izuku... Izuku didn't look good," she asks him to elaborate and he glances at Todoroki who's staring blankly at the cement, "He had a broken arm at the very least. His head was bleeding, and he was limping. That's all I noticed."

They take descriptions of the villains from everyone in the class, and the police confirm that all the descriptions matched those who have been apart of the League of Villains investigation.

Aizawa does his best to make sure his students are alright, but there's a huge pit of dread filling his stomach. When the last of them had been loaded into ambulances and police cars, he sits against a rock, finally allowing himself to have a breakdown.

He lets tears fall down his cheeks, but he makes no sound. Bakugo was like his nephew at this point, and Izuku... he couldn't even bare the thought of what might be happening to his son.

Tsukauchi approaches the man, "Shota. We need to get you to the hospital."

He sniffs, using both of his hands to wipe his tears away, "Right," he takes a deep breath, "Parents will have questions."

Tsukauchi looks at him worriedly, placing a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sorry about Izuku. He's a tough kid, he'll get through this."

Aizawa bites his lip and nods, "I need to call Hizashi before we go."

"Okay."

The detective starts to walk away but is stopped by the heroes voice, "Find my son, Tsukauchi. Please."

"Just shut up!" His sons words were so clear in his mind, "You're not just my teacher, you're my fucking dad!

"You know I can't treat you any differently-"

"But you can! I just.. I fucking hate you sometimes!"

Was his son taken hating him? Would that be the last conversation between the two? All those years together and those were the last things he remembered about his son?

Aizawa was spiraling into his mind. Vlad King noticed, and sent him away so him and Nezu could explain the incident to the students parents. He couldn't even do his own job right. Almost all of his kids had suffered some sort of injury, whether it be from the gas or encounters with the villains, and he did nothing to protect him.

Hizashi bursts through the door, still wearing his pajamas. His hair's a mess, and he looks like he's been crying. He runs over to his husband, wrapping him into a hug. Aizawa doesn't have the strength to hug him back, just presses his head into his husbands sweatshirt.

"Tamaki was at work study, FatGum's escorting him here now," the words slightly comfort the man, just so he could see with his own eyes that at least one of his kids were safe.

He quietly tells his husband about the attack, and he eventually sits next to his husband, letting him lay his head on his shoulder. He saw three cups of coffee on the table next to him and sighs, "Baby, we'll find him."

"Zashi," he squeezes the mans hand, "We had an argument. He told me he hated me," He confesses.

Aizawa doesn't look at him, and Hizashi can practically see the mans broken heart, "Well, when we find him we'll just have to tell him we love him a million times."

Theres a small knock on the door, and it opens to reveal a boy with white and red hair. Present Mic gives the boy a small smile, "Come here, kiddo."

He enters, trying to hold back his tears. He bows, "I'm, I'm so sorry," he apologizes, "I should have protected him and Im sorry I failed."

He hears someone stand up, and arms are wrapped around him. Hizashi looks at his husband with love as the teacher hugs the boy, "You did nothing wrong, Todoroki. None of this is your fault. You did everything you could."

Todoroki cries, gripping onto the man. He hadn't cried like this in years. And he had never been hugged so tightly while doing so, "I'm so sorry."

Present Mic stands, and goes over to the boy, wiping his tears from his face, "I know it's difficult not to blame yourself, but know that we are grateful that you are safe with us."

"Whats... what's his dad-Hisashi... What's Hisashi going to do to him?"

Hizashi grabs the boys hand, "We'll find him before he can lay a finger on Izuku."
