Amajiki and Izuku talk quietly at the table while they wait for Present Mic to get ready, "Are you sure you have to go to work study right after class?"

He's been trying to convince the older boy to help him pick out what he's going to wear before he leaves. Of course, they've already picked out an outfit. Well, actually, three outfits to be exact, because Izuku keeps changing his mind.

"If, if you're really w-worried about it, just, just ask Togata to help," Amajiki suggests.

"Mirio-Chan is awful at keeping secrets," the boy whines quietly, "And if I ask him for help he'll catch on."

There's been no leads on the League, so if he wasn't going home with Yamada or Aizawa, Mirio would watch after him. Amajiki just shrugs. He knew Hado could help with something like this, but he wasn't sure if Izuku would feel comfortable with him telling her so he brushes the thought aside.

"You ready to rumble, little listeners?" Hizashi asks with a bright smile.

When they get to school, before the part ways Amajiki wishes him luck and gives him a thumbs up, before being intercepted by his blonde best friend. Izuku tells Mirio he'll see him after school and leaves, though the boy interrogates his friend as to why the young hero would need luck.

Izuku is stressing all day, the only time he feels himself begin to relax is when Shoto joins the table for lunch and sits next to him. Everyone greets the boy warmly, and Izuku gives him a nervous smile.

His dads were a little hesitant to let him go, but after much begging from their son, ('PLEASE, I will be around heroes all night! I couldn't be safer if I tried!') they finally agreed. The boy had been pretty much cooped inside the past couple of weeks, so if he wanted to go to a boring fundraiser with the Number 2 hero's kid? Who were they to argue?

However, both of their kids wouldn't be back until after ten tonight. And Yamada was ecstatic about it. This was the couples first night alone together in gods knows how long, so they could do whatever they wanted.

The day can't seem to pass quick enough for Izuku as well as his parents. He tries not to act suspicious around Mirio, but he's rushing around the apartment panicking so the blonde tries to help, "Izuku, I promise you that your hot date won't mind if you wear charcoal gray socks with a lighter suit. No one will notice."

His face turns red, steam blowing out his ears, "Amajiki told you?!!"

Mirio laughs, going to ruffle the kids hair before the boy grabs his hand and twists it around his back, causing him to grimace, "I did not just spend forty five minutes on my hair for you to fuck it up."

He lets him go and Mirio dramatically rubs his wrist, "Tamaki didn't tell me, by the way. I just kept guessing until his ears starting blushing."

Izuku narrows his eyes, "You can't tell Dad or Papa!"

The boy smirks, crossing his arms, "Why not?"

"Because-  because I don't even know if I like him like that!" He lies through his teeth. The blonde raises an eyebrow. Every single thing he had done since they arrived at the apartment argued otherwise, "Well, no I know I like him but this is only our first date! We're not even dating yet because it might not work out so they don't need to know unless it does."

Mirio relents, "Well, I suppose," he teases, "Do you need help with anything?"

Fuyumi and Shoto pick up his friend without their father who had promised to meet them there. His sister drove, so when she parked in front of the building the youngest Todoroki got out, preparing to fetch him from inside only to be met with the boy barreling down the stairs and right into his chest.
