Shoto and Izuku share a hospital room. Izuku's been asleep for hours, and it pains him that he can't go cuddle with him due to the parentals in the room.
He knew they were waiting to lecture them both at the same time though after their meeting with the police earlier in the day they were going to be able to get away with it. Still, he almost wished he could be asleep like Izuku is. Both had come off pretty scot free. Shoto needed only about thirty stitches total for both of the stab wounds, and Izuku only had the half-healed wound on his back. So since they weren't hurt, the abundance of dads in the room were waiting to yell at them for their stupidity.
And when Izuku finally opens his eyes, they waste no time, "Glad to see that two of the worst problem children are finally awake."
The young boy doesn't even turn to look at his dad. He looks at Shoto who's on the bed next to him giving a blank look. All three dads are in the room right, and not a single one of them looks pleased, or even just not fuming, "Papa-"
"No, Izuku! I should have been able to trust you to do as I asked, not just as your father but your teacher as well! You never even went to the Recovery Center, I checked!!! I cannot believe you, Izuku- you cannot just do whatever you please in these situations, there are rules and guidelines..." His papa continues until everythings off his chest.
"I'm sorry-"
"Nuh-uh," Aizawa stops him before he gets the chance, "We have this all planned out, Endeavors next."
Izuku hides his face with his hands, why was being in that alley almost preferable? Not only did his boyfriend have to see him get lectured by his dad, but now he had to watch the same?! Shoto looks at his teacher, eyes wide before looking at his father, "One minute you were by my side, and the next you weren't! Do you realize the consequences that might have had?! Do you?!"
Shoto start to nod his head, "...Yea-"
"No, no you don't! Because if you did, then you are just truly stupid, and I know you are not stupid!" Endeavor was... weirdly insulting, but also... something Izuku had never seen before, "You could have been pulled from the hero course. I might have lost my ability to host interns and work studys. You could have been kidnapped by a Nomu. You could have been killed by a Nomu..." Again, just like Papa the man lists every single hypothetical that comes to mind, "My point is Sho- you're too smart to make such stupid, stupid choices! You're not some cute little kid anymore, your actions have consequences and you need to figure that out before it ruins your life!"
The boy begins to apologize but his teacher stops him, standing between the two boys beds towards their feet. Both of them glance at each other nervously, "Since I am your homeroom teacher, I get the privilege of lecturing you both."
Oh god. He had his teacher voice on. Even Izuku was intimidated by that voice, "Your actions were so so stupid, that I believe neither of you had any thoughts going through those brains of yours. The only thing that drove you both to do what you did was your chest."
Shoto raises an eyebrow at Izuku, silently asking What the fuck does that mean?
Izuku looks at him, equally confused as to where his dad's going with this, How am I supposed to know?
"Both of you let your personal feelings drive you into that fight, and you were fortunate enough that they got you through it. But that is only due to dumb luck. If either of you had taken even a moment to consider other options, we would not be in this situation right now."
Izuku looks guiltily at his hands. He knew his dads didn't want to lecture him, and he didn't hold it against them. All they wanted was to keep their kid safe in a dangerous world, "But, we do consider ourselves lucky this is the situation we are dealing with."
