I swipe the concealer across my skin, attempting to cover the bags under my eyes.
harry knocks on the door and steps inside, smiling when he sees i'm actually dressed and ready.
i reluctantly got ready this morning, despite my attempts to stay in bed.
i haven't seen billie.
thank god.
i'm not wearing my concert outfit, rather changing from one set of sweats to another.
i take a big drink from my water, doing some vocal warm ups, shoving my phone in my pocket and following harry out to the stage.
when i step through billies team, lisa is stood on stage with mike, pointing to somewhere and looking stressed.

when she spots me, she waves me over and explains we're gonna do a quick run through my set, and she hands me the set list and i scan through it.

i grab the stool and sit down, adjusting the mic stand so it reaches my head.
"what are we doing about teenage fantasy?"
"harry is gonna be on guitar and finneas is playing piano as well as Andrew on drums"
and why couldn't my own band members come?
"cool" I clear my throat and turn myself back to the empty pit.
this is gonna be filled up tonight.
holy fuck.
the beginning of 'on my mind' starts and i close my eyes, waiting for the intro to finish before starting to sing.
everything runs through smoothly and when i start to sing be honest, i pick up rhythm and stand up, moving along to the beat.
i don't jump around on stage like billie does but i do move around.
I love making them scream when I shake my ass.
I hear someone walking behind me and I turn around to see billie, walking up to me. I keep singing, watching her and she walks straight past me, jumping off the stage and down into the pit.
uh okay?
I close my eyes and keep singing, ignoring people moving speakers and lights around me.
"be honest, you want this" I sing, running my hands down my body and tipping my head back, taking the mic from the stand ready for 'teenage fantasy' I'll sing sitting on the stool.
"okay so while you're singing, finneas and andrew will make their way on the stage to join harry ready for the next one, is that okay?"
I nod my head and the team roll the instruments to where they're supposed to be and mike explains wen I run off the stage, the team will move them in position ready for billie to come onto the stage.
it's crazy to think there's gonna be thousands of people in front of me, right here, in a few hours.
when I finish soundcheck and they're happy with how everything sounds, I make my way straight off the stage and right back into my dressing room.
I don't wanna listen to billie when she's being so rude.
I need to eat, prepare myself for tonight and shower.
fuck I need to shower.
the door opens and Lisa walks in, smiling. "you sound great, how are you feeling?"
"I need a brew" I laugh, I join her on the sofa and she grins. "I brought tea bags as requested and there's a kettle in the green room"
one of my requests for the tour amongst other things.
"am I allowed in the green room?" I furrow my brows, thinking the green room was for billie and I can imagine she doesn't want me there.
"of course" Lisa laughs "do you wanna go in now? I don't think there's anyone there"
"sure"
I grab my phone from the table and follow Lisa to the green room and make sure there's water in the kettle.
"where are the mugs?"
"look in the cabinet underneath" I do and find the teabags and sugar, Lisa brought.
what a queen.
it might in the typical british in me but I fucking love tea.
