High Mentor Kidnapping

Ms. Bee was delighted to see that Sebastien was back. Though Nick still had that disgusted look on his face. "What's your problem? He's going to be on this journey with us so would you stop giving him the look, making him feel horrified?" I asked Nick. Nick paused, and looked away. "I... It's just that... Uh," Nick stammered. Well, at least he stopped looking at Sebastien. "Never mind, just don't look at him with that look," I requested. Nick nodded, a bit embarrassed.

"Ok. So here's the plan. We go save Taton, who is the high mentor. Oh wait... You don't know who that is. Ok, so here's a summary- A special is someone who has the power of the elements. Mentors are people who protect and teach the specials. The high mentor is the leader of the mentors. High mentor has been kidnapped by a person named Tornado. We must rescue him. I don't know how, but we will figure it out." Sebastien took about a minute to let it all in. Then, he nodded and said, "Ok. How do we find him?"

Oh... I hadn't really thought of that. We could use the tracker, but the tracker doesn't work on Taton. High mentor always wants to stay hidden. After my pause, everyone realized that we didn't have a plan to find him. I thought it through. What's the first step? Ok, so I knew that if Tornado had to capture Taton, then he would have to be out of France. I told the group that we had leave France first, then we would think about the next step.

So, we traveled from city to city until it became nightfall. We slept, and the next day traveled even more. After about two days, we had reached the ocean. You must be thinking, "Well... You know you could have taken a plane, right?" Well... We didn't have enough money to afford five plane tickets.

Anyways, we pretended that we were swimming, playing around in the ocean. Then, I made the water push us all very fast, away from France. Couldn't have the chances of being seen. We swam for what seemed like hours, pending we all became so tired. Well, mostly me, since I had to use my powers. Sebastien wasn't ready to use his powers yet, so I couldn't ask for his help.

"Could we take a break?" Nick asked. I wanted to say, "Well look at your surroundings! We're in the middle of the ocean!" Though I said, "We can't exactly do that. We're in the middle of the ocean. Well, unless we found an island. Then we could rest on it for a while." Nick immediately swam in search for an island. He pointed in the direction of one. I willed the water to take us to the island. I felt my energy drain out of me like people squeezing out juice from an orange. Though I kept myself together so we could reach the island. So close... Just a few more... My world went black as I sank into the deep depths of the ocean.

I coughed and saw Nick and Sebastien looking at me. "Are you ok?" Nick asked, lots of worry on his face. I nodded my head but continued to cough. How did this happen? How did they save me? I was already half way down into the water. Mr. Snooks smiled at me, "Sebastien used his powers to save you. He made air go into the water and push you upward. From that spot to the island, Sebastien used his powers to make us fly to the island. He didn't need to use his powers for Ms. Bee though..." I thanked Sebastien,"I wouldn't be here right now if you hadn't used your powers. Thank you."

Sebastien was a really good friend. I started to cough yet again, and this time my face became red. Sebastien was about to get me something to help me, but Nick pushed him out of the way. Nick helped me up and started to pat me on the back. I was embarrassed, but it helped me. All the water came out of my mouth. I thanked Nick. He smiled, but behind that smile was an upset face. "Ok, let's just rest here, and then Sebastien will use his air powers the rest of the way. You, Claire, have done enough. Now, since we have left France, where do you think Taton might be?" Ms. Bee chimed in.

We all stood, clueless. Of course, we didn't expect Sebastien to know or guess where he is. He doesn't even know Taton yet. I thought about the time when I was with Taton, training. I remember that I was in trouble, and then Taton had saved me. So maybe, if Sebastien gets into trouble, High Mentor might save him. Or maybe he might do something else. I don't know. Though it was worth a shot. Though who would ever want to hurt Sebastien? I turned my head towards Lulu, who was on Mr. Snooks' back. Maybe if I let Lulu loose, then she would attack Sebastien?

Though Taton shouldn't realize this is all fake. Maybe if I communicated to Mr. Snooks and Ms. Bee through my mind? "Mr. Snooks, Ms. Bee, I have this plan," I thought. "Yup, we're listening," Mr. Snooks replied. I told/thought them the plan. I nodded to them. Time for the plan.

"Hey, I'm pretty hungry. Sebastien, stay here and make sure that no one comes on the island and attacks us. Ms. Bee , Mr. Snooks, Nick, and I will go look for food around the island," I requested. Sebastien nodded. My mentors, Nick, and I went to search around the island. Mr. Snooks made sure that Lulu was on his back. After about five minutes of fake searching, I awakened Lulu and she started to scream. I let her loose, and she started to run after Sebastien, as she sensed he was a special. "Help! Help!" Sebastien screamed.

I felt like helping him, but I knew it was for the better. I asked Mr. Snooks to see if someone was speaking into Sebastien's mind. Mr. Snooks went into Sebastien's mind. Mr. Snooks also pulled me into Sebastien's mind. Ms. Bee had to stay out of it, since she had to make sure that Nick doesn't do anything.

"I am sorry, special. I cannot help you, as though I am trapped. I cannot tell you as to where I am, because someone is in my mind, watching to make sure I don't tell you my location. I can only say this. I am somewhere where memories had unfold. Where... One was having fun, but it got destroyed. The place where it all started. That is all...I am sorry..." Oh man! Great! Taton couldn't tell us where he was. Though he did give a clue.

Mr. Snooks pulled me out of Sebastien's mind. "Did you find out anything?" Ms. Bee asked. I answered, "Yes, but not his exact location. Though, let's first save Sebastien." I rushed over to him and used my air powers to make Lulu blow away. Lulu flew back a good few feet. She tried to put fire on the island, but then I ran up to her and kicked her. I made vines appear and wrapped it around her. I punched her, and made her unconscious again.

"Thanks," Sebastien said. I bit my lip. How was I going to tell him I did it on purpose? Nick stepped forward and put his hand on Sebastien's shoulder. "Claire actually did this. She let Lulu loose. Though- She did it for the good of the world." Sebastien seemed shocked. "You hurt me on purpose? Then saved me?" He stomped up to me. I chewed my fingernails. This was bad. Then something unexpected happened. Instead of punching me in the face, Sebastien thanked me! "You did it for a good reason. I get it. You're going to be the savior of the world, Claire. You're a good friend." I smiled. Sebastien really understood me. He was a good friend.
