Chapter 7- Time ✔️

After three days, I was ready. "Ok. Now, you may enter the world," Taton said and opened the door. I walked away with a huge backpack with supplies behind me.

I peeked over my shoulder. Taton was crying! I quickly turned back and ran up to him. I hugged him tight and said, "Don't worry, I'll be fine." Taton wiped his tears. He nodded. I looked back one last time and waved goodbye.

I rushed into the city. I took out my GPS from my backpack that tracks the mentors and specials. I realized that Ms. Bee and Mr. Snooks were being captive in... Wow... Manhattan! I have always wanted to go there! I started to head to the bus stop. Wait... Couldn't I just go to the sea and swim there? I turned around and ran to the beach.

I jumped into the icy cold waters and swam as fast as a dolphin. I felt alive! Sometimes, I would jump out of the water and pull it with me. Finally, I was there, in Manhattan.

As Ms. Bee had told me before, I could only see which city they were in, not the exact location. I started to search in the alleys that I saw.

"Have you seen these people anywhere?" I kept asking people around the town. They would always reply no! It was so annoying! One time,when this one person said no, I growled at them. "Wow quite down wolf girl," the women had replied. Finally, I gave up.

One last person and I was done. "Do you know these people?" I asked. The person stared at me.

"Actually, Yes," the person replied.

"Where are they?" I questioned.

"I saw theses people take them to the alley. I could take you there, but... I need you do this one thing. Then I will take you there," He said.

"And.. What would that thing be?" I asked.

"I need you need clean my garden and make it look pretty," He requested.

I sighed, and agreed. I had to do this if I wanted to find my friends. We reached his house and I closed my nose. The garden was stinky, with all the plants and grass dead. I stepped into the garden. The man gave me all the supplies needed to make it look beautiful.

I stared at them. I didn't even know how to garden! I wanted to us my powers. Nature may be my weak power, but I can make some flowers appears and make the grass green again. Though the man was watching me. He would find out my powers.

"Hey! Don't worry, I won't go. You can go in and have some tea. I mean, I need your info. Why would I run away?" I said.

The man thought about it and nodded. He went into his house. When he entered the house, I immediately started to use my nature power and grow flowers.

I made the grass green again, and grew lots of different flowers. I also grew a few bushes. I didn't want the man to suspect anything, so I poured out the water he gave me, and pretended to keep working.

He would think about how did I fix his garden in five minutes.So, after about an hour, I knocked on the door of the house. I saw the man come out and saw his mouth fly open. "You have replenished my garden! It looks so lovely!"

He cheered. I asked him to give me the info. I had to find my friends before it got too late.

The man lead me through the roads. "Now, be quiet. These people can beat you up in seconds. Oh, and you don't do anything unless I tell you too. You're just a little girl, and I don't want your life to end so early," He instructed.

We finally reached a narrow alley and the man stopped me. I started to scream but the man grabbed me and gagged me. He didn't want to get me into trouble.

There was all my friends, all tied up. The gang was whipping them. "FOR THE LAST TIME! We don't know where the special is!" Nick cried.

I pushed the man beside and started to walk towards the gang. I don't care if I get hurt, if I'm gagged. I needed to save my friends.

I marched forward until the man, the same man who had told me to fix his garden, came behind me and threw something. I looked at the thing and saw that it was a sleep dart. The last thing I saw, was the man running up and smiling, and the gang cheering while looking at me.

I woke up and tried to get up. I looked down at my body and saw that I was chained up. The man who I had helped smiled at me. "It's so nice to know that I am still good. I can still fool the specials. "

"Who are you actually?" I asked.

"I am the leader of this gang, and am known as Tornado." He replied. The man started to twirl and formed a tiny tornado.

"I thought only mentors had super powers. Monsters could only turn into some animals with evil claws or something." I said.

"Who said I wasn't a mentor?" Tornado questioned.

I gasped. He was a mentor! What?! The mentor smiled.

"Oh, and I also have a small surprise."

The mentor made some signal and this other girl came up to me.

"Is she the evil special?" She asked.

"Yes. I want you to show her your skills, Lulu." Tornado ordered.

Lulu brought in loads of water and filled up the room. The water started to choke me. I looked closely at the water. It was poisoned! Just as I was about to faint, she took the water away.

She sent me a nasty look and then set the carpet on fire. The fire came close to me, its flames trying to burn me.

"You like my skills?" Lulu smirked.

"You're a... A.... A special!" I stammered.

"Isn't that obvious?" She said with a grin.

"Listen! You're on the wrong side! Tornado is evil!" I shouted to her.

"No he isn't. He saved my life twice. You're pure evil." She replied.

"This is all wrong! He's tricked you!" I screamed.

"You will never learn," she said.

Lulu again made the poison water come into the room. This time, I tried to fight back. I used my sky powers and pushed back at her. She flew off and the water went with her. I kept pushing and didn't stop. She started to call out for help but I just kept pushing. I made the air go into her mouth so she couldn't speak. Lulu fainted. Her lungs couldn't take the pressure of the air.

I grinned. Now, all I had to do was get out of these chains. I wrapped vines around the chain and it broke.

I stared at Lulu. Maybe I should bring her with me. I mean, she's one of the specials. If I get her, then I only have to find the last special and then I'm done. All the specials will be on the same side, fighting against evil.

I walked up to her and started to hear footsteps. Tornado was coming! I quickly gagged Lulu so nobody could find her, then put her over my back. "Ok. Now I just have to find my friends... Again," I thought and ran out of the building.
