Doctor Rabenherz commanded his attention as they walked through the pristine halls of this facility... wherever they are. "Now, pay attention Izuku, because I will explain how things work as we walk."
Glancing down to see the boy's attention was solely on her, she began to elaborate. "The Foundation is a clandestine organization dedicated to securing and containing anomalous entities, objects and phenomenon that the world is not ready for, all to protect humanity. Our official motto may be to Secure, Contain, and Protect, but our unofficial motto is... that we fight in the dark so that humanity can live in the light."
He glanced down, muttering to himself, but loud enough for her to hear. "Just like heroes..."
Chuckling slightly at the comparison, she took the charitable look at his words, instead of what he actually said. "I wouldn't call us that... Now, the way Foundation works in a class system for staff. As the current owner of nine-six-three dash one, you are automatically classified as rank B personnel, two ranks above most. The top brass is known as the O-5 council, referred to as O5-1 through 13. Their names, faces, and identities are kept secret at all times, due to their unrestricted access to all data. They are the most at risk, so must be protected at all costs."Still not quite aware of the gravity of their work, he cautiously replied with an, "Ok..."
Continuing onward, she explained her role with a hand to her chest, gesturing to her 'adopted son' that she was referring to herself. "I am the Site Director, so I am a Class A personnel. You report to me in regards to everything, unless an O5 council member dictates otherwise."
Eyes wide, he lowered his head in respect, "Yes Ma'am."
Smiling slightly at the fact he understood her role, she elaborated on the classification system itself. "Now, as B Class, most C Class report to your level, but as you are new, nobody will report to you quite yet. Your first assignment will be as my aide, writing reports on certain anomalies.""Anomalies... you've mentioned those before...?"
"Ah, yes. There are several classifications... I will set you up with your equipment quickly, but they are objects which defy natural law. Quirks, at one point in time, were considered anomalies, but have been... too widespread for containment."
Eyes wide, Izuku made the connection with his previous hobby, and what she was asking him to do. An analysis, on something with supernatural powers, just like quirks. Actually looking forward to this, he turned to Rabenherz and asked, "Which ones?"
Glad to have him eager to complete the task, Isa smiled before revealing his task. Some personell were surprised to see her talk with a supposed D Class, based on the jumpsuit alone, but it was soon clear why by seeing the amulet on his chest. They figured she was speaking to yet another of Dr. Bright's 'hosts'. "Anomalous items 5097, 7390, and 7520 are the ones he had not finished his analysis on. You can complete them in any order, but I would like 3 standard reports on them by the end of the week. Just so you know what is expected of you, I will show the general format of a report in one of the originals..."
"Understood."
She was actually pleased to have such a receptive and compliant aide. Even if it was under duress. To be honest, she didn't like to use people like this, but wanted the correct results, which the blonde valued above all else. "Good, you catch on quickly. Continuing back to the class system, C Class are fundamental menial staff, Class D's are... different to the rest... and finally Class E's are expendable combat roles." As they walked, they reached a point where she took out a keycard. It was magenta, labeled "SITE MANAGER", and held it up to the checkpoint scanner.
