Compress was the first to wake up. When he first joined the League, he heard that it was famous, and had the backing of the world's most legendary villain. Due to this fame, he was naturally drawn to it, as he had to live up to the legacy brought forth by his ancestor, one of the greatest thieves in modern history. Setback after setback, he had his doubts... but now? The Apocalypse happened. It didn't matter anymore. It was both familiar in concept, yet expressed completely differently to how anyone would predict.

In the end, humanity will die, transforming into... something else. Something monstrous. So of course, in the end, he will be forgotten.

At least he hopes he won't be. Looking around, he found his compatriots. But it seems Shoto Todoroki has already... left... wait, he said he was going to wait for night! Searching around, he didn't find a sign of the boy. However, one set of eyes might be tricked. Reaching his 'boss', he called out, "Shigaraki!"

Waking up from roughly a few hours of sleep, his voice was clearly tired. "Mn... what is it?"

"Shoto is gone!"

"What?!" He bolted up, and looked around the room, frantic. He was nowhere within sight. As Tenko scanned their holdout, Twice awoke from the commotion, only to hear their boss whisper to himself. "Why... wait... maybe he just led them away... he wouldn't be taken without a fight..."

Meanwhile, Compress found something, a small piece of paper, in Shoto's handwriting. Lifting it up, he showed off his find. "I think I found something..." He cleared his throat and began to read it to the others. "To Compress, Twice and Shigaraki, this will be the last time we see each other. I have personal things I need to do, and it is unlikely we'll see each other again due to the end of the world."

Reading ahead, Compress paused for a moment, before continuing, his voice hardened. "I will lay the truth out now: Shoto has been dead for at least a few months. Since a week before you broke me out of the convoy. My "quirk" has been in effect since then. I am part of something far greater than anything you know, and my mission, the cleanup of 7520's mess, aka, All For One, is now over with the advent of the apocalypse. The Amulet contained my soul, and it was nice to meet the League of you, and get to know you. While I may not like your actions, I can understand them. I have no hard feelings... I hope you can say the same." The next part was met with muted confusion, as the thief continued to read: "All Foundation sites are accepting survivors. You may still make it if you go before the monsters realize you are holed up here. Just know I did not betray you. Good luck. Sincerely, Izuku Midoriya (the soul inhabiting Shoto's body)."

There was silence between the three after that note had been read. Shigaraki didn't know what to even think. He felt anger, betrayal, sadness... but he did give a clue at what to do next. "He said that some Foundation was offering safety... do you know where?"
"Maybe our phones have reception?" Compress checked his phone. "Right, it says the closest one is at Mustafu... about an hour south."

"I see... then that's where we'll go." Scowling, he muttered, "Maybe that bastard'll be there, and I can deal with him myself."

It was then that they heard a crash, and something entered the building. Clearly it had heard Compress's voice, and they had to act. Sighing, the thief cast the note to the floor in a crumple of paper. Looking to their leader, he stated the obvious: "I know my outfit protects me from this phenomenon, but not yours..."

"You'll be fine... No you won't!" Twice added, proving the point. "I'll be fine, I'll be eaten!"

Shigaraki nodded, indicating "We'll meet outside the city... I'll find a safe way there."

Moving on ahead, Compress and Twice ventured out to the street.  Moonlight bathed it in a pale glow, and there were more of those fleshy mounds. They patrolled the streets, but didn't see him yet. Sighing to his good fortune... or so he thought. Instead, Something grabbed his left arm. Turning towards it, he saw what he was afraid to have seen before: Toga and Spinner melted into one being. Green and pale flesh twisting and dripping, Toga's disturbing smile with Spinner's agonized expression still there... it was clear that she was in command here. "Why do you hide from the moonlight, Compress? It's so beautiful..."
